Daggers Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 2) No i didn't i suggested that the length of time someone had been posting doesn't gage the knowledge of the club. It doesn't - but someone who has just recently cropped up doesn't carry the weight of someone who has been posting predicted outcomes over a period of time. Surely this is common sense? This is why people report on here what certain posters have said on TB simply because they have a history of getting it right. This person may know their stuff, they may not...but the reliability of what they post will only be proved across the course of the coming season rather than with some spurious posts at the beginning. As it has been said, a signing today is something most of us would have predicted with absolutely no knowledge of the internal workings of the club as it is linked to a ST deadline.
Floating Fox Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 Erm - say's who SUAS? I can't be arsed to read all of your post but I've met him, and he's a good bloke with a lot of usefull information. Therefore In the know.

Daggers Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 I can't be arsed to read all of your post I know you young people have problems with your attention spans but that is one severe problem you seem to have
Leonisco Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 I'm thinking it's all part of a strategy to encourage more people into ST's.I can't remember who said, but someone mentioned that signings may be staggered and delayed in order to maximise sales. I laughed at the time...but now I'm starting to think there's something in it. Hmmm, after this Sergio Hellings incident it seems that it's not the actual signings themselves that are staggered and delayed, but its the announcements of those signings that are.

Leonisco Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 Which is what the initial point was... Is it? I thought you meant it was the actual signings themselves that were staggered. Apologies, I must have misread your post.

Maybe but I'm thinking that article was taken offline whilst MA has got round to announcing the signing himself as he has done on all the signings so far.

The reference in this thread is oblique, I agree...but it refers to a series of posts in a thread where the point was that the announcement of the signing, not the contractual signing, would be delayed in order to maximise ticket sales. If it read differently then, mea culpa, I apologise.
