Match Day Ticket Prices

I think what he is saying is that our prices our quite good for the league were in. Yes they are way to high. But thats the crap country we live in.

We are in competition with other clubs, its like banks, shops or whatever, they all set the prices around the same, and people compete with each other for cheapest prices...I can see where your coming from though. I think.

But we're not in competition with other clubs, if the prices are too high at Derby do fans go to forest or Cov intead, of course they don't that's utter bollocks.

Prices at LCFC should be set with out any consideration of what other clubs charge, it should be set so you get a balance between earning sufficient funds to run the club and getting supporters of all ages into the ground on a match day. The problem is that clubs have allowed themselves to be collectively brow beaten by agents and the like into paying extortionate wages for average players, we the paying fan are then lumbered with the consequences of this madness.

One argument is that season ticket prices offer a better deal- reduce match ticket prices and you have to reduce season ticket prices too. I see your argument Davie, but if you look at Milan's track record then you will see that raising ticket prices happens with him in charge. I said it at the time Milan took over that it would be something we would have to live with. I don't think some people took me seriously. I wouldn't expect reductions any time soon.

I made the same prediction, not that it was hard, it's MMs choice I sincerely hope we have a successful season otherwise we are going to see crowds hovering on the 15K mark never mind full houses, and this success is not going to be as easy as many people seem to assume.

I agree, it wasnt a difficult prediction at all but I think some people, in all the excitement, neglected to think about some of these aspects. The success won't be easy at all- and you're right, I'm worried if it all goes tits up by November our attendances will well and truly go down the pan.

As soon as we get more than Man U I'm going to **** of there for some decent football and a couple of trophies!

Why can't they just make prices affordable and simple by placing them at £15 for adults and £10 for concession (students, OAPS e.t.c)

Obviously there are reasons why they can't do it. Or else surely they would. If you look around the rest of the grounds our prices are not that bad.

It doesn't affect me directly but I still think they are way too high, as for other clubs I've never seen the relevance of that argument, we are not in competition with them, and to use them as a means to justify high prices is nonsense unless you are convinced that their prices are reasonable which I don't think they are.

I agree 100% that ticket prices, for football in general are too high, the game needs to be made more affordable across the board, I was not trying to justify anything all I was doing, which I alway`s will is defending out club from unfair critisism !

Don't be a dick, no one said that - it is the timed release of the information appertaining to the signing of a player that has been called into question.

I am unable to be a "dick" as that is not my name, the information is released when the deal is complete, that`s it, end of story ! no strategic delay`s, no ticket selling tactics !

Who's to judge whether it's fair or not, I get the impression you're an employee of the club or have some close link if that is true then your view of what is fair could well be compromised by the fact that you or someone close to you depends on them for a living, apologies if that's not so.

I being a paying customer of long standing believe that the matchday ticket prices are not fair, so I will continue to criticise constructively and will argue with those who use spurious information to justify the prices.

Says a random person with no history on the forum and a believability rating currently running slightly below that of Football Rumours.

Errr did you not read my post ? I was agreeing with you !!! I will say again, I also believe that football is way way over priced, something needs doing, BUT our club are by no means over priced in today`s market, just ensuring we keep around the mid price bracket for the division we play in.

Are we not all "random" people ? and how does one aquire a "history" if they can`t start somewhere ? also why should my "believability rating" be so low, have I earned such a title ?

Aploogy accepted, thanks, Oh and as for being a "paying customer" I have not missed a Leicester game, home or away for over 20 years, so a great deal of my non LCFC hard earned cash has swelled the coffers of football clubs !

And we are, of course welcome to our opinions, just so happens that yours is totally WRONG , not even sure what kind of a twisted mind could dream up such bull shine !

Yeah from someone who obviously thinks the football business is all pink and fluffy..wake up and smell the coffee for feck's sake!

Can I just ask why the cut off at age 22 ?

If I lost 2 stone, got stuck into the "Just For Men", had botox, got my hair cut in 3 different styles at once and bought an entire new wardrobe, I'd still just look like a 36 year old having a midlife crisis, so it's full prices for me, I'm afraid.

O and by the way if we are rating our expertise and opinion's on how many matches we have attended (which you seem to) then I beat you by at least 7 years!

Did you not read anything he said?

He's clearly trying to say that although football in this league, and country, Is Way out of order, The club itself is reasonably priced compared to other teams In the league.

I did`nt bring up that issue Mr G did, I seem to get a bluddy hard time on this forum and am not sure why ! maybe being random and unbelievable along with being a Moron, an idiot, and a dick has something to do with it, new people certainly don`t get warm welcomes on here, nor are they entitled to opinions or able to provide information they know for a fact to be true.

So just because other clubs rip the fans off it's ok for LCFC to do it?

Someone has to take the moral high ground and bring some integrity back into football, why can't it be LCFC. As I said before it makes no odds to me what other clubs do I don't support them.

It's endemic in Britain today to rip people because someone else is doing it.

Well all I can say is blind faith by football fans is part of why we're in this rip off world in the first place and regretably people like yourself have become part of the problem and why Britain is deservedly known as the rip off country of the world.

Big business rules and the majority just pander to it.

Don't Worry Mate, The ones who actually know you know your stuff are right behind you.

And what is it exactly that you know, the only justification Fatbloke and you have come up for extortionate matchday prices is that every other club is as bad.

Your spot on, I dont think anyone's disagreeing with you at all.

People are being ripped off in football, and I don't like it at all, but if our prices are cheaper than most others then it's not so bad, and I think that's what he's tying to say.

What I meant was that Fatbloke, is a well in-the-know person, I was only sticking up for him as he was getting a hard time simply for putting his points across wrongly..
