Match Day Ticket Prices

Recommended Posts

I personally don't give a fook what the ticket prices are next season seeing as I'm looking into the away day tour. I would like to add that Fatbloke definitely knows what he's going on about seeing as he's well and truly on the inside, but I don't disagree with what davieG is saying in here either. Football is being made more and more expensive all the time, somebody needs to take a stand before everywhere is like Club Wembley.

...new people certainly don`t get warm welcomes on here, nor are they entitled to opinions or able to provide information they know for a fact to be true.

Depends if they swan about pretending to be an Oracle on all matters LCFC or not really, don't it.

You state opinion as fact...let's see what happens today before I decide whether to begin puckering up to arse kiss or not seeing as it's Fatbloke's predicted "We are signing someone today" day.

INHO i think the match day prices are well priced in relation to similar clubs to ours.

The club are probably trying to lure more people to buy ST's rather than just attend on a match to match basis.

People do get a rough ride on here.

How long they have been posting and the credibility of there posts is irrelevant. Someone who has a lot of info on city could have not really known much about forums and decided to give it a try. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

There was the guy last week IA8M who hadn't made many post but got a few things spot on.

So just because other clubs rip the fans off it's ok for LCFC to do it?

Someone has to take the moral high ground and bring some integrity back into football, why can't it be LCFC. As I said before it makes no odds to me what other clubs do I don't support them.

It's endemic in Britain today to rip people because someone else is doing it.

 What pisses me off is that two seasons ago we played Blackpool in the F.A Cup and it was a tenner for adults and a fiver for kids,Went to the home and replay.Could some one who'se better at maths than me tell us what the percentage of inflation is on that?

Can't commit to a ST as my work schedule is all over the place, 23 quid is expensive, as was 22 quid last season....but I suppose its on par with other clubs....

I think the general standard of football is poor, which is why IMO its not worth more than a tenner to see a match these days, in the 80s and 90s you could pick 2-3 players from every team that came to Filbert St that you would want on your own team, I saw the best opponent thread earlier in the week where its a struggle to pick a good 11 from the 23 teams that came down last season such is the crap standard of teams.

I understand that some people dont mind paying the prices but I've always gone down to be entertained win, lose or draw...I hope MM and MA can bring the entertainment back because with the exception of the 3-2 spurs cup win its been piss poor for the last 3 years!

My point exactly, and I then get called twisted by someone who complains that he gets a hard time on here! :dunno::frusty:

I think the ticket prices are good for home fans this season.

Leicester need to start charging away fans more tho. Such clubs as Birmingham, Derby, Southampton, Sunderland Etc ... Charge Leicester £25 - 30 when we go away so Leicester need to do the same thing.

Why do we allways get ripped off?

I don't think they are allowed to charge away fans over the odds(due to Football League rules)

Why does Fatbloke 'definitely know what's going on'? He's denied any connection with the club and states that he's just a fan of 20 years standing and is not well and truely on the inside.

His opinion carries no more weight than mine.

Yet again where does this 'lot of info on the club' come from ?

Unless he says otherwise it's just his opinion.

Of course he's entitled to his opinion, I'm entitled to mine and we are debating the subject. The difference is I don't pretend it's anything but my opinion where as Fatbloke gives the impression that his opinion is fact, he subsequently denies any direct link with the club therefore there is no evidence that it is fact.

Besides there seems to be more people in agreement / defending Fatbloke on the ticket prices being acceptable than there is my view

that they are unacceptable and the club are in the wrong so I don't see how you can say he's getting a rough ride.

I wasn't agreeing with what anyone was saying, just making an observation.

I know and I was questioning the outcome of your observation.

CALM DOWN EVERYONE!....Im getting throbbing pains in my head!

If you want to support your club you have to stump up your hard earned no matter what the price is..but I have a feeling that if City are successful over the next couple of seasons then the ticket prices now are going to be peanuts to what we will be paying back in the Prem...and before anyone starts on about the level of football we will be seeing it's still Leicester and we've still got to find the money.Bottom line is....of course I would expect to pay more to watch better football but I don't expect the club to take advantage of my loyalty and passion!!

If we wait until a single club makes a moral stance and reduces prices, we'll be waiting a long time. Nobody is going to break ranks.

The only way a price reduction will be forced is if the fans turn their backs on the game.

That too is highly unlikely.

What I meant was that Fatbloke, is a well in-the-know person

Erm - say's who SUAS? Exactly what is his great list of spot on observations thus far? To my mind, the only thing the bloke has done is come on here and be slightly rude and/or condescending to a large number of people that question him. In fact, I would say there is a greater chance of him being Chandler than there is of him actually knowing anything.

His opinion carries no more weight than mine.

Opinion is lent credence by the person presenting it over a period of time. He has appeared from nowhere (pretty tough thing for a Fatbloke to do let me tell you) claiming to know this that and the other. He said we are definitely signing someone today...let's see if he's up to his own mark.

Having said that, anyone who raises a standard and declares that they are going to protect the club against unjust criticism deserves to be roundly poked fun at.

there is a way of making a point without calling people names that mainly what i mean.

I would say it's a pretty safe bet we sign someone today anyway so "Lardarse" still won't carry any credence with me, being cynical (which I am) it's only just over 24hrs to the ST deadline.

Just to clarify two points.

1) I never called anyone names

2) You suggested that he had this greater knowledge of the club - that is not a proven fact unless he's prepared to at least give an indication of why this is so I'll treat his view as opinion and no more valid than mine.

1) didn't say you did. sorry if i implied you did, i didn't mean that.

2) No i didn't i suggested that the length of time someone had been posting doesn't gage the knowledge of the club.

Ok we'll leave it at that then. No problem.

I agree, if Fatbloke is so "in the know" he should at least give us an indication of how he possesses such vast knowledge of the everyday goings-on of LCFC.

Otherwise, he's no more trustworthy than anyone else.
