I hate the show with a passion We have sky plus and all there is on the planner is Dr Who, my bro records it so he can put it on dvds, then all he does is play on dr who games on the internet, or watch clips of dr who on bbc i ****in hate it

What an ending, although it does raise several questions: Is this the end of ms jones and the doctor? Theres not another actor/actoress lined up to play the doctors companion is there? Does anybody know if Captain Jack is joining the Doctor for the next series though?

Rincewind Posted 1 July 2007 Posted 1 July 2007 I don't think will be the Doctors companion if that's what you mean. They are two individuals as characters so it would be a clash of personalities. After the finalee I doubt the original creators meant the Doctor to be such a complex personality. But times move on and the original 1963 idea is way out of date. We are finally getting to see the deep down traits and faults of Dr Who. The new and younger audiences are a lot more up to speed with modern technology so a gentle old man travelling with his neice would not do. I look forward to more. Poker time. bye.
