Any idea if there's any tickets left for general sale?

This may seem a bit of a silly suggestion, but have you tried looking at the OS, or even asking the ticket office?

I hope a good number of you plan to visit us on tuesday night.

In answer to the chap with the crutches - the stewards will generally try to find you a seat in the seated stand (yes just the one  ) but you may not be allowed many mates with you.

A lot of the posters on the link for away fans are from just around the corner so maybe slightly biased. Here is my view of the ground

toilets - stink, don't they all?

view - its not a big ground so you will be closer to the pitch than you are accustomed to. From the goal end you will have an unobstructed view other than the goal frame. But it is open aired. Don't worry so is ours (stand built but the cladding hasn't arrived in time to cover it for this game)

catering - excellent vans with the usual fayre available at the usual prices. Nothing really inspiring but the quality is there. Only the one van at both ends so be prepared to queue. Or get to the corner of the stand before half-time and be nearer the front.

In essence it is a small, scruffy by most standards, non-league type ground. But you have to remember that four years ago we were in the Unibond!!

Anybody planning to visit should have a look at our Supporters Club website. There is a page on there for away fans (see left hand column) that details local pubs, eating places, taxi's etc stanley supporters site

Have a safe journey up but don't come expecting the win!!

From the OS

And with no tickets available on the night, fans are being advised to collect their tickets from the Walkers Stadium ticket office at the earliest possible opportunity to avoid disappointment
