Geo V Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Aah I never thought that would see the light of day. The Travolta fella is class and he starred in the first film I ever saw whilst being in America (Face Off), and realized that we are a bit quiet when watching a film back in old blighty compared to those crazy buggers out there. Noisy tosspots.
Zingari Posted 26 July 2007 Author Posted 26 July 2007 As shareholder of the company, I would like to announce that we have pipped 6 Premiership Clubs and two from La Liga in purchasing 5 brand spanking new Optimistic Coaches. This intrigued me so i did some investigating and contacted the 2 La Liga clubs and asked why they intended purchasing coaches with Right Hand Drive ; both parties laughed at me and told me not to be so silly , they are Left Hand Drive vehicles I was now even further confounded as to why 6 Prem clubs wanted LHD vehicles and it transpires they are all teams with European ambitions doing a feasibilty study as to whether they could be used instead of air travel ; all have deemed it a non starter Thrice confused i now could not understand why the Leicester had bought coaches with LHD , i contacted the suppliers who said that a very rich foreign businessman who seemed to fit MM s description just did not seem to notice and his entourage were so drunk on something they just boarded blissfully unaware they were lighting on the wrong side of the coach . After a couple of impromptu "comfort" stops on the motorway only a few seemed to notice that they were p*ssing in the central reservation not the hard shoulder . Anyway i hope this does not serve to dampen anyone's optimism and i'm sure anyone could make this type of mistake However these vehicles are notoriusly difficult to use when overtaking so lets just hope we don't get stuck behind a long stream of other coaches Cheers and Pip Pip

Unless of course being pessimists that is the intention, I am on the optimistic coach as life is to short to get off the bus and be ran over!!!
skinnydipper Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Not sure which bus to get on so I'll wait and see how we do before I jump on the bandwagon
AoWW Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Rumour has it Apexgeo's Optismistic Coaches do not have freely flowing hot chocolate on tap . This has, quite frankly, pissed on any optimistic inclination I may have wanted to share with you and I feel unable to grace you with my presence until the situation has been rectified to my satisfaction. I shall, therefore, be travelling in the AOWW Wagon-mobile which positively oozes optimism as well as a wide range of hot and cold beverages (including complimentary hot chocolate laced with incohol for all passengers ). Eating onboard is permitted providing passengers remember to ply the driver with sweets en-route. Sadly, due to the compact and, erm, intimate, nature of this select mode of transport, onboard toilet facilites are not available and passengers are respectfully asked to refrain from pissing in the cup holders. However, for your convenience, regular comfort breaks at a variety of attractive service stations will be arranged. The management of the aforementioned service are happy to accept any number of suggestions from passengers as to how the experience can be improved. All proposals will be given due consideration - we aim to please. Places are currently being offered on a strictly first-come first-served basis (and are largely dependent on how much I like you and how appealing the bribe you offer).
Zingari Posted 11 August 2007 Author Posted 11 August 2007 i did not want to go down the old "sex sells" road; but due to an unprecedented level of competion for "bums on seats" ; anyone signing up to pessimistic coaches will be upgraded to our premier vehicle , "Priscilla; queen of the desert" all the high quality services as offered as before , but with the extra bonus of knowing our hostesses will ensure a smooth and comfortable ride all the way ; with regular stops to enjoy outdoor hog roasts and water sports ( please be aware that due to design this is a rear entry only coach ) " here's just some of our hostesses ready to bend over backwards to ensure your comfort and pleasure please book early to ensure disappointment
Zingari Posted 11 August 2007 Author Posted 11 August 2007 don't forget folks ; the kiddies ride for free on all our coaches
Zingari Posted 11 August 2007 Author Posted 11 August 2007 thracian's top gear style track test ratings after one lap Kilworth's over optimistic sidecar combi. -5 ( oversteered at corners ) Geo's optimistic bus ( of highope herts ), -3 ( no real power ) Dagger's realistic vw camper, -1 ( sleeping problems at rear) BBro's pessimistic coach ( of long suffring, kent ), + 1 ( no serious breakdowns )
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 Think you'll do a roaring trade now - all defecting from the optomistic bus as someone told them they would get a better standered of coach in a year's time - but they now feel dupped and cheeted just like last year... and the year before that... (It's nothing to do with the hostesses)
dandannieldanok Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 Get me a place on it, surely its money better spent than going to watch City.

It was a decent but unlucky performance so we remain upbeat and optimistic. I bet you sold a load of tickets for the pessimistic coach yesterday night though?

Zingari Posted 29 August 2007 Author Posted 29 August 2007 bluesbrothers pessimistic coaches have gone into administration and will be known henceforth as "zingari's gypsy tours" ; we don't know where we are going or if we 'll be welcomed by the locals ; however you can have as much fun as you like nicking stuff and telling gullible locals their fortunes ; dancing by the campfire in the evenings will of course depend on results ; and any disputes will be settled "the traditional way"

Flynny Posted 30 August 2007 Posted 30 August 2007 Uhhh... Geo's bus went head first into a ravine, any seats to spare?
Zingari Posted 30 August 2007 Author Posted 30 August 2007 Room for a big Cypriot ? plenty of room yet big boy if you promise to bring a few bottles of Sodap sherry for the ladies milan mandaric ( pictured 2nd left) would like to welcome fans back onto the bus after the driver lost control and started picking up too many useless stray passengers and refusing to pick up mandaric's old mates ( MA claimed they just wanted a free ride ) the driver had to be thrown off and his successor will be carefully selected from a list of people with the name paul jewell
consty Posted 30 August 2007 Posted 30 August 2007 Room for a big Cypriot ? too many cypriots spoil the broth (I'm one!) anyone for avgolemoni on the bus?
