Zingari Posted 16 December 2007 Author Posted 16 December 2007 can i assume lwicd has the sobriquet "big ben" if so i think we need to be told the story don't spare my blushes
lookwhaticando Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 It's just the nickname that I've carried for many years from a variety of people. The first person to use it was my German teacher... we had three or four Ben's in our German class, so rather than using first & last name, he just had nicknames for us. There was Quiet Ben, Big Ben (moi, the tallest of the 4) and Pervy Ben (who always asked about leather underpants and mirrors on the ceiling for example). More recently, where I work there's two Ben's... and I'm the taller of the two. I'm also the only English one, so it's a double-meaning nickname I suppose.
Raj Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 ahem......*cough*.....any room for a little un....

No, you can't. Make your bloody mind up!
The People's Hero Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 I'm on whichever bus has the best seats. Any of them got recliners? Monk was on about it. Alternatively, perhaps the one with most women, but cramped conditions?
Daggers Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 I'm on an individualistic unicycle, going nowhere and generally getting in the way and pissing people off in the process. And loving it.
Zingari Posted 10 February 2008 Author Posted 10 February 2008 i told you lot not to get optimistic but would you listen ? ;
Zingari Posted 12 March 2008 Author Posted 12 March 2008 i was pessimistic at the beginning of the season but this is fookin ridiculous please come in Sam Allardyce
StroudFox Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 How many people have been switching from the optimistic bus to this one and back again, depending on the results? I have one foot on each bus!!! Then I can choose the winning bus!
Zingari Posted 24 March 2008 Author Posted 24 March 2008 How many people have been switching from the optimistic bus to this one and back again, depending on the results?I have one foot on each bus!!! Then I can choose the winning bus! What do you mean the "winning bus" ? It's obvious that the pessimistic bus won ages ago . The only thing to be "optimistic" about now is avoiding relegation, and thats quite different to the meaning of optimism when the good ship optimism was launched . pffft , talk about moving the goalposts
Zingari Posted 24 March 2008 Author Posted 24 March 2008 I think the wheels have come off them both. yes but the passengers on the pessimistic bus expected that
Yaxx Posted 24 March 2008 Posted 24 March 2008 yes but the passengers on the pessimistic bus expected that :laugh: :laugh:
