It's just the nickname that I've carried for many years from a variety of people.

The first person to use it was my German teacher... we had three or four Ben's in our German class, so rather than using first & last name, he just had nicknames for us. There was Quiet Ben, Big Ben (moi, the tallest of the 4) and Pervy Ben (who always asked about leather underpants and mirrors on the ceiling for example). :ermm:

More recently, where I work there's two Ben's... and I'm the taller of the two. I'm also the only English one, so it's a double-meaning nickname I suppose.

How many people have been switching from the optimistic bus to this one and back again, depending on the results?

I have one foot on each bus!!! Then I can choose the winning bus!

What do you mean the "winning bus" ? It's obvious that the pessimistic bus won ages ago .

The only thing to be "optimistic" about now is avoiding relegation, and thats quite different to the meaning of optimism when the good ship optimism was launched .

pffft , talk about moving the goalposts

:P;)

I think the wheels have come off them both.
