Bellend Sebastian Posted 9 August 2007 Posted 9 August 2007 My dad has very mixed music tastes,he criminally dosen't like The Smiths but he does like some of my favourite artists/bands such as David Bowie and Led Zepplin. He like everyone else likes the hugely overrated Beatles It's nearly 18 years since my Dad started slagging off the Smiths. For some reason I see Morrissey's enduring popularity as something of a victory over him
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 so is mine Perhaps we have the same dad and he is just living a double life! Thats where he has been going when he disappears to the shops for a few days!!!
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 My old man still listens to Tangerine Dream and he's 65 ffs! Good taste he has !! Mine is listening to Spellbound by Rae and Christian.
Libertine Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 Well my Dad died in April but he'd definitely still be listening to Morrissey, Smiths and Radiohead (who I got him into ) I imagine.
Nod.E Posted 15 August 2007 Posted 15 August 2007 Roger Chapman ( you might know him from the band Family ) As always.
