Chandler Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 That'll learn you ageist callow youths to compile lists of our glorious thirty somethings! D&D could get a bus pass between them. And he who dies by corners Craig, can also kill by them! Well done lads, first really happy moment since Micky left. Your still shit Levein - but I'll let you off tonight! Super, Super City!

City Fan Posted 19 February 2005 Posted 19 February 2005 Craig Levein got everything 100% correct today. He chose the right formation, and make the perfect subs at the perfect times. At least Craig isnt afraid to try new formations and drop people when they are not playing well. Micky always used to stick with the 4-4-2 whether it was working or not....
Mark Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 Well done lads, first really happy moment since Micky left.Your still shit Levein - but I'll let you off tonight! Super, Super City! 68799[/snapback] Didn't enjoy the Reading victory then? The difference Craig Levein is making is brilliant, and we're actually playing good football now. Even the commentator on Match of the Day said we played some good INTELLIGENT football, and the people who went to the game will back that up for sure. Now you tell me when that happened under your beloved Micky Adams. No way would we have won todays game under Adams, he wouldn't know where to start when it came to tactics. CRAIG LEVEIN'S BLUE AND WHITE ARMY

We would have played 4-4-2 with Scowcroft wide right .......
step Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 Chandler. it was the best football i have seen city play all season. Even you would have been impressed

Ash Posted 20 February 2005 Posted 20 February 2005 Craig Levein could possible be one of the best things that's happened to this club !

step Posted 22 February 2005 Posted 22 February 2005 Chandler, where you impressed or did you not go.
Chandler Posted 22 February 2005 Author Posted 22 February 2005 Step, Like Lisa said; it was a good performance but the team could still play better. Many of us had a hunch that league status and form would be thrown out of the window for this one and so it proved. It was only a shock to the witless and the uninformed. Charlton struggle in this competition. Yeovil nearly turned them over. My only worry wasn't whether we would raise our game (which we did a little) it was whether the Addicks would drop theirs (which they did a lot). I'm half hoping it's Blackburn in the next round. Burnley have got a bit of hoodoo over us and I definitely wouldn't want them in a replay.
Little Nicky Posted 22 February 2005 Posted 22 February 2005 Do you travel to Charlton then Chandler?
Chandler Posted 22 February 2005 Author Posted 22 February 2005 ...only when we're playing there TBM. Nothing personal against The Valley you understand, but I'd rather not be cooped up in that enclosure thingy they call a stand anymore than I have to.
