But players like anelka dont come round very often, proven goalscorers, and obviously they want to ship Nugent out to get Anelka in.

I suppose Redknapp has been impressed with the strikers he has with Benjani and Kanu on form at their new lad Ntaka is it looking like a class player. I`d be surprised if they sold him though having got rid of Lua Lua the other week to Olympiacos.

Mort Posted 27 August 2007 Posted 27 August 2007 He should have gone to Sunderland IMHO... good manager, good club and a good record with developing youth, whats more he'd have got a good run of games in the first team... instead he was too interested in tarting himself out (believing all the hype after getting into the England squad) and waiting for Everton to come call, by the time it was obvious they wouldn't, he only had Pompey left, which always seemed a weird place for a player at his age to go to.
