Daggers Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 Is he your hat supplier? He needs some street justice then
The People's Hero Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 Right - who wants to buy some Mablo drugs>?
Finnegan Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 It may be harsh, it may not be. You know fook all about this man, whether or not he actually sells drugs, why he's selling them if he is, who he targets, whether he's harmed anybody or whether he's supplied to children / youths. He could be a knife-using, child pushing, granny mugging scumbag who deserved far more than a bit of tar. Alternatively, he might have been some poor, desperate sucker forced to whisper his offers of a bit of skunk to studenty types on the by and a bunch of vigilante, right-wing pricks took their prejudices and shafted him with them. Like it or not, call me a hippy student liberal or whatever, but millions of people the world over choose narcotics and use them safely, fairly responsibly and regularly. There's a small bag of weed on my floor somewhere, I somehow doubt I'm the only poster here to have done it and I wouldn't be surprised if a fair few here haven't tried pills, and maybe even had a brush with Charles at some point. Demonising drugs and drug users in the modern age is just ludicrous. We've all seen the Fear and Loathing mick-take, anti-drug documentary. We all laugh and go "ahaha, that's so 70s", but buying into all this tabloid sensationalist tripe is no better. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending drug culture, gangsterism, any form of violent or anti-social crime and I was only jesting about my supply of junk. But let's have some common sense here and a bit less of the old "less than he deserved, shoulda chopped his balls off!" melodramatic, pseudo-far-right, hard-man shit please.
Alexikokopops Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 On an asside, this could have some interesting consequences http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/6972468.stm
