MON Posted 22 February 2005 Posted 22 February 2005 I don't get it. Why choose the arsenal replay, Arsenal will win easily. Why don't they show Brentford against Sains instead. I was looking forward to watching that.
Oli Posted 22 February 2005 Posted 22 February 2005 How do you know Arsneal will win easily? Like they did at home to Sheff Utd I suppose. Its the FA Cup anything can happen.

I'd prefer to watch Arsenal than Brentford or Southampton

I bet the average football fan would prefer to watch a potential upset than the forgien legion from Highbury against the ugliest team in the Championship. Bonkers.

Don't give a s*** about Arsenal and their bunch of no-mark reserves. And the less air time Warnock gets, the better. I'd rather watch Bees/Saints too.
Alexikokopops Posted 22 February 2005 Posted 22 February 2005 At the end of the day everyone's going to have different opinions, the BBC can't please them all, and has to chose one match. There's the potential of the underdogs being victorious against the current Premiership champions, so it's understandable why the BBC has chosen this match. Personally I don't want to see Neil Warnock on TV anymore than is barely necessary, but the Arsenal match is, as Anish said, gonna get the more viewers, and ultimately the one that best pleases the public as a whole.
Cobbo Posted 22 February 2005 Posted 22 February 2005 I would prefer to have watched Blackburn vs Burnley to be honest, big derby game.
Teeno Posted 23 February 2005 Posted 23 February 2005 I would prefer to have watched Blackburn vs Burnley to be honest, big derby game. 70216[/snapback] The game on sunday was borimg though.

filbertway Posted 23 February 2005 Posted 23 February 2005 I think it will be a decent game, i wouldn't mind which game was on as they all look decent, but if it was about the magic of the fa cup it would be brentford v saints.
Ricey Posted 23 February 2005 Posted 23 February 2005 - Arsenal are a big side - The BBC screened the first game - Southampton vs Brentford will no doubt be on sky - The Arsenal game will attract more viewers Simple really.
