Plymouth v Leicester Match Thread

As I've said before, we wouldn't know because we've never tried being anything but cautious. And why we've reverted so dramatically from last weeks tactics just because we're away I really don't understand cos a point won't get us nearer the play-off places and the chances of us losing are increassing all the time.

We're clearly demonstrating once again that having two up front is not sufficient to guarantee us goals. We need to play 4-3-3 because no two of our strikers are strong enough.

Inevitable that said, Hume with our first decent shot of the half. Rowett reflecting modern thinking. As long as they don't score it's half decent." How sodding pathetic.

To be fair, a point would be an OK result, after all its better than one. Of course we'd all prefer a win, and pleasant attacking football, but the management have decided not to go for that approach, for whatever reason.

Cos they haven't got the bottle. They're either under orders or they've sold their souls. Attacking the game has served them so well over so long but when it comes to the crunch they kop out. No wonder they remain in youth/reserves football. Football doesn't change in terms of requirements but you need nerve to attack when there's something at stake.

Kelly was the same. Supposedly an attacker at Blackburn but kopped out in the big league. Am I glad I've not wasted a chunk watching another ambitionless away game.

Rowett defends institutional negativity. What a soddin advert for the game he is. Why don't they get some forwards to commentate. All we ever get is ex-defenders and ex-midfielders.

Ummm Wolves at home...great display??

No it was a shit display, but to say Worthers was completely useless is waaay off the mark.

So completely useless that he got the Northern Ireland job? I'm not for one minute suggesting that Worthers was amazing or that he should have had the job full-time, but he did make some vital changes to the squad (albeit the Wolves game was disappointing), and was at least half decent. In comparison to Kelly, he was a major improvement.

How football cries out for people with imagination and flair. It's arteries are clogged with shit certainly at Championship level.

And we get some flair we get rid of it!
