  1. Not defending him because I think it’s gone beyond that. But once again his arrival was relatively late & the additions to the squad even later. I thought it’d take a whole lot longer than it has to get rid of the waste of previous years( a few exceptions) and so that is a major plus. that’s meant however, that we’ve had to rely on players who are good eg Alves, Braybrook but not yet good enough ( could well be different with a better coach) So could it be that we just need a bit more time? I don’t ythink so. I think he’s a fraud a bigger fraud than the others we seem to attract. BR beeing the biggest. I hate coming on here generally because of the negativity but I acknowledge just how hard it is to ‘keep the faith’. It’s depressing- it ruins my weekend and I can’t see a way out of this mess but Brussels clearly not helping.
  2. Last roll of the dice. I’m not sure they can afford to get rid. In their heads ‘get them winning(sic), make the club look attractive and sell. Tops desperate- he doesn’t know what he’s doing, wants to preserve some kind of gratitude for his dad and business probably not doing great either. as for RM he’s now at the stage where he’s blaming the players. what a sad sad situation.
  3. Just shows how poor he was that he couldn’t, despite a loan to Monaco, secure an honourable transfer. Instead the Saudi escape route. Good riddance - almost all gone
  4. We definitely need another shithouse…..
  5. Glad to see the rag is on the ball! 😂
  6. The club is an absolute mess! The slide down has been catastrophic & handled like a bunch of amateurs. yet here we are. A bunch of really talented young players who absolutely represent our future, but it ain’t gonna happen overnight, yet only few fans left, who have that patience. RM was never the answer. Unless there is someone of real steel, experience and with character ( can you think of anyone?) it’s gonna be more pain first.
  7. Nearly all - you can argue as much as you like about BdCR & LT - have gone. It’s what I wanted. I wanted a team I could recognise, be proud of, who gave a shit. A team that’d fight in true Leicester fashion. And I think that’s what we’ve got! Somehow, we have to make RM that his suicidal tendencies need therapy.Although they did seem to ditch it halfway through the first half. I genuinely hope that every single player who has left recognises their responsibility for what has happened to the club. There isn’t a single one that has progressed in their career.
  8. I agree - I hope, feel that yesterday was a turning point. You had at least 11 players giving their all, a lot of young players and the only same old same old was BdCR missing that sitter
  9. After the last few years, today’s performance was more than promising. It feels different and apart from BCR & Thomas a fresh energy. The old guard has all but gone & that’s the first step of many. Something we can get behind.
  10. And this is Russel Martin! Yes we played some really good stuff, yes it looked good on the eye with some really promising performances but crudely you just tgotta win sometimes. I think we have got out of the habit and so the judgement comes on results. Nobody will save you if youve played brilliantly for ten games and lost all ten. It is suicidal playing out of the back the way he does - we are not quick enough, good enough and ultimately it's gonna kill the young players confidence.
  11. Come on tell me you're not excited! This is the only game when we can hope again - it might be too late on Saturday afternoon, but before we can be champions again, hired the best coach in the world and play football that no one can moan at. Even Foxestalk can dream for one game COYB
  12. who are the 16 reported to be going? Reading the Merc was bad enough when free but they're an absolute joke believing that its worth a subscription!
  13. Amortisation is when on your books you spread the cost over a number of years which drops a percentage each year, so the first year it shows as a bigger % & reduces year on year
  14. Should send him the medical bill. If anything summarises the pit of despair this clun has put us through, it’s this. Never has so little been owed to so many and most of all this sub-standard pathetic excuse of a player. get rid, get rid & don’t ever darken our club again.
  15. I have that same source!
  16. This is a never-ending nightmare, isn't it? They genuinely seem to be doing everything that we all cannot grasp.....and yet over 22k season ticket renewals.
  17. He's right! But he's asking the wrong question - for the sake of honesty & integrity he should be asking himself ' What have I contributed to anything?' I think his answer will soon remove his right to contribute anything at this point other than 'Thanks for alll the medical support I''ve got for zero contribution to anything.
  18. The half hour or so last night that they put in a shift shows precisely where the blame lies. It is scandalous and not one single player should play for us again. There is a whole list of priorities, and they should start today - never mind a half-hearted attempt at taking responsibility, the redemption or death of our club starts now. Appoint a manager asap - doesn't need anyone fancy, but someone who is tough, clear and able to deal with the players Have a meeting with the players - explain that there will be no future for many at the club - pick and choose strategically the likes of Begovic, Skipp, Vestergaard Get rid of all loan players and start telling the youngsters where they fit in next season, and spend between now and the start getting a siege team mentality Financially is where we will see if Top supports the club or not because he is going to have to bank roll those who cannot find another club and watch them rot on a different pitch to the main squad He is going to have to bridge the gap between next season and the following one I would expect that to be started today unlike this season when evern Marti didn't stand a chance Never ever ever again to I want to hear the piss take from away fans at the KP again. We stop the rot today and that includes the fan base who have the club in common and little else. It's done and it can't be un-done but today we have to smell the coffee and build something new.
  19. Typifies the malaise of the players in our squad - average at best and if the level of comeback is to highlight the fact that he has hair, then go back to primary school. How embarrassing!!! Seriously, this nightmare might cost us our club - you bet that the owners haven't any sort of contingency plan and are so inept they will wait until July before reacting, let alone putting into place a serious way forward. It's scandalous
  20. Happy to say that despite believing he was a good appointment, mainly based on how he got QPR playing, I was 100% wrong about his appointment. The problem lies we all know where - waiting until late pre-season before appointing him, not having a credible replacement when they got rid of him and generally getting so many major decisions wrong.
  21. What an absolute shambles! I can only think of Nelson Thomas(I know I know) Either because of contracts or think they're too good can't see anyone else staying and that will be the best thing that can happen. The next manager will have to be Pearson-like, who can build a team from the core outwards, instil the right ethics and team spirit - I can't see beyond the youngsters and the odd loan. Good riddance to everyone else .....I might miss Abdul and JJ and Ricky. This nightmare is real, isn't it?
  22. Love this thread!! V Brizzle C - when a red and white robin goes bob bobbing along! Shoot the B*tard shoot the B*stard shoot shoot shoot If I had the wings of fan angel If I had the arse of a dove I'd fly over N8**M F**est & shit on the bS BELOW BELOW
  23. A wet dismal night v Blackpool - Rodney Fern scores a 'goal' only for the ball to stick on the Filbert St mud and the game to be abandoned! I was sucked in ever since!
  24. Confidence is a strange thing and without it players start to hide rather than perform, managers go on the defensive and fans start to get anxious. Look at Mavididi - apart from the fact that he can''t catch a break at the moment - at the best of times he is a good mood player and can't do the most basic thing right at the moment. Lack of leaders on the pitch, apart from Vestergaard they all go hiding but things can turn really quickly and need to starting on Tuesday. The problems however are deep, much deeper than Cifuentes. I think it is crazy to consider sacking him - win Tuesday and things change but the problems remain and that isn''t down to him. He is a good coach but hasn't been given the right tools to do his job - whoever bought Carranza needs to check whether he came with a receipt cos he should never wear a Leicester shirt again. He has to be bold and that means trying Jake Evans get the midfielders on shooting practice and I beleive we will improve. Promotion has to wait but the inquest of how this has been allowed to happen needs to be had......and we know that won''t happen
  25. At least this thread is turning out to be more about the insanity of re-appointing BR than that of sacking Marti
