Frenzied Posted 1 September 2007 Share Posted 1 September 2007 As anything that suits. If there is one player who could galvanise our promotion push it's Heskey. I'd like to see Heskey back but he's a centre forward. He wouldn't have the the right vision for centre back.

Thracian Posted 1 September 2007 Share Posted 1 September 2007 N'Gotty so close. At least it sounds as if we're putting some football together which makes a change for us at Plymouth.
Raj Posted 1 September 2007 Share Posted 1 September 2007 So Jewell would be a just about acceptable outsider and that would leave the choice between Brendan Rodgers and Simon Grayson. Agree with jewell. What about a foreign manager.......Jean Tigana????

lookwhaticando Posted 1 September 2007 Share Posted 1 September 2007 It wouldn't be an easy choice but I'd want a bit of excitement and pushed to choose I'd go for Brendan Rodgers. Why Rodgers? What'd I miss?

Thracian Posted 1 September 2007 Share Posted 1 September 2007 Why Rodgers? What'd I miss? He's a young up and coming coach rather than an old down-and-going has been or a predictable dourist. He'll be hungry for success, has been at the cutting edge of football in England and Europe with Mourinho and should have a decent list of contacts by now. Mattock's sounding nervy again and Kissa's obviously playing lifesaver. Sounds also as if City are missing some speed in central defence. I've never really liked the idea of Kisnorbo/McAuley and would much prefer Stearman in there.

Thracian Posted 1 September 2007 Share Posted 1 September 2007 Rowatt's a weak arse effectively advocating cheating as justifiable. "If you can win the game you win the game", he says. If people like him had the bottle to say it was 100% shameful and unacceptable then perhaps it would help cut the practise out..

I just wondered whether he'd done something that I wasn't aware of etc. Fair do's. Grayson isn't that old though... he's up-and-coming.

City_4_Life Posted 1 September 2007 Share Posted 1 September 2007 I would like to see Carl Cort come on for De Vries in the second half, because it sounds like he is gettin tackled to easily and giving away possesion. It also sounds like a open game with maybe Plymouth having the better chances, i would be happy with a point today but i have a feeling we might nick all three.
