Thracian Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Afternoon everyone. John Smith team that. No nonsense. In fact for the first time in three years that I can recall, MM and the caretaker managers have gone with the logical team. I don't know that it is necessarily the best team but at least there's a case because 4-1 against Watford is a powerful argument. Let's hope they continue where they left off last week and provide the perfect pick-me-up for Clive Clarke. .
Milky Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 WHY DOES MINE NOT WORK THEN, I JUST GET THE BROKEN LINK THING SO I DOWNLOADED THE JAVA MACHINE THING AND IT STILL DOESNT WORK! oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

davieG Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Kaebi not in the 16 Didn't he play his first full match only last wednesday? Bit early for him still
morris1234 Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 can somebody give me a link for the live chat to see if that works because mine still doesnt work please!
Flynny Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Same line-up with Mattock instead of Clarke. Excellent.
Thracian Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 You have to wonder at some of the commentators. Fryatt wide on the left?. Fryatt was shit on the left and only posed a threat when he moved into the middle - against Accrington and Cambridge.
Mort Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 You have to wonder at some of the commentators. Fryatt wide on the left?. Fryatt was shit on the left and only posed a threat when he moved into the middle - against Accrington and Cambridge. Its radio Leicester... though on this at least i agree with you, utter twaddle on the part of the commentators, then again the same's true with the Merc, oh for some decent sports journalism in the local media!
Anish Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Didn't he play his first full match only last wednesday? Bit early for him still Or the caretaker manager and co just don't rate him
Thracian Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Thrac..im glad your here....i asked you Yday but no reply..I ask you courteously who would YOU chose as the next manager of LCFC??? I seriously believe that no-one will be allowed to manage properly. People like Roeder, Peter Reid, Gary Megson and Neil Warnock are an utter turn-off to me. I'm suspicious about having another Scottish manager so wouldn't chose Jimmy Calderwood and, although he might be successful and more willing to be manipulated than many might imagine, I don't really fancy Paul Jewell's football, only the half-chance that he might get Heskey back. So Jewell would be a just about acceptable outsider and that would leave the choice between Brendan Rodgers and Simon Grayson. It wouldn't be an easy choice but I'd want a bit of excitement and pushed to choose I'd go for Brendan Rodgers.
Frenzied Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Everyone get in Live chat! Apologise for my technological incompetence but what the hell is Live Chat?

Thracian Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Or the caretaker manager and co just don't rate him Hard to imagine that from the way he played and the fact that the managers left him on for the whole match against Wolves Reserves. And a 5-1 away win wasn't a bad start seeing the Reserves lost to Forest in their first match. I imagine they are just letting him settle in properly. .
Thracian Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 As centre back??? As anything that suits. If there is one player who could galvanise our promotion push it's Heskey.
