Bluefoxtim Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Had my 6 year old £350 bike stolen from outside Sainsbury's yesterday and after me and my dad looked through the insurance policy it looked as though it wasn't covered - but we rang up anyway and it turns out it was! - apparently they had sent my dad a letter with some new details or something Just been given the 2008 model as a replacement (comes with disk brakes as well!), been given a new set of lights, onboard computer AND a b*stard of a bike lock - all for £128. So from being absolutely p*ssed off yesterday, I've got myself a great new bike and a bundle of accessories for £128, when you would look at spending over £500 for all of it. I can see why so many people try and lie to insurers and 'accidently' burn their houses down! To the cvnt that stole it, I hope it falls apart and you fall under a truck.
Alexikokopops Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 I had a 5 megapixel camera, took it to a fancy ball at my Uni and got ridiculously drunk. I woke up the next da and remembered taking pictures of my feet with a girl, but nothing camera related after that including where the feck it were at the time. Rang up the insurance company and got a 7 megapixel replacement with a case, spare battery and a 1 gigabite memory card, KEEN.

Dr The Singh Posted 13 September 2007 Posted 13 September 2007 Somebody stole my girlfriend once, my insurance didn't cover it!!! ALthough, she had been used quite alot and had many occupiers and could have done with a service and makeover, I was hoping i would get a newer and better equivalent!!
Kent Fox Posted 13 September 2007 Posted 13 September 2007 At one time, when I was younger, my life wasn't going so well. So I killed my myself by jumping in front of a train. The Insurance Company were very good. They arranged for some DNA to be collected from all over the countryside and even got it sent to the cloning laboratory. Without the love and dedication of my Insurance Company, I would not be here today. You cannot have enough..
The People's Hero Posted 13 September 2007 Posted 13 September 2007 Insurance fraud eh? The market will make the money back eventually, don't worry about that.
