General Smuts Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Just setting up the new 08-09 season on FM Moving Leicester into League 1 to see how i can do there. Added Bell and Worley, not bothered with Hendrie and Ethuhu will only send them back anyway. Will try and play as might happen this summer. EG - Sending back Alnwick and the Hungarians and selling off players to fund new uns like Andy Bishop etc. Gonna take Reading and Brum down with Derby and everyone in 3rd will go up in playoffs.

EG - Sending back Alnwick and the Hungarians and selling off players to fund new uns like Andy Bishop etc. Gonna take Reading and Brum down with Derby and everyone in 3rd will go up in playoffs. ive already done that aswell mate, i sent fulham birmingham and derby down, stoke hull wba up, and sorted out all the way down to blue square prem. i pretty much got rid of everybody with city and am about to play my first league game against mk dons. i also sorted some of the finances for promoted teams, sorted out the players that are going to leave in real life that we already know of, lehman, diouf, cerny to qpr, and lots of others, took me a while but pretty good! heres my squad, what do you think i released most players but i sold: dj to watford 1.4mill hume to derby 1.7 mill stearman 600k plus pericard clemence to sheff u 250k porter to sheff u 100k chambers hull 100k and i released all the others, ive still got most of the youngsters and am planning on using some of them such as chambers, rowe-turner, cox, magunda etc so everything is looking good!

morris1234 Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 won 2-1 in end, mclean (1) after 40 mins then on 41 mins bell gets his second yellow, then after half time a 25 yard screamer from frecklington sealed the points, their new signing, which was my fault as they got him with the money they got from keith andrews, scored a 30 yard free kick courtesy of a deflection by mr fryatt!

I don't know how to do it. Squad wise i think Pericard will almost certainly come next year so thats a very good shout. Would have signed Frecklington myself tho tbh, have a look at Neil Eardley at Oldham too.

Pericard was legendary for me in the Championship, he'll piss all over League One mate, definitely play him from the start.

morris1234 Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 I loaned DJ to Crewe too haha i got 1.5 all together for him when he went to watford hes now got 0 in 4 hahah ha ha just beat crewe 1-0 away with a last mintue nicky maynard goal haha to get the points, im top after 4 games won them all scored 8 let in 2, mclean has 3 so far maynard has 3, maxi gradel has 1 and worley has 1! just about to play aldershot in the jtp! pericard is yet to play in the league as has been injured but has 3 in cup competitions!
