Asha Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Don't expect much from the onscreen graphics mate. But the detail is great. No 3D match? There was in 03/04 version - my latest version.
Simi Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 You should of print screened when you were winning/scoring mate ! Googled.
DB11 Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 No 3D match? There was in 03/04 version - my latest version. There has never been 3D when Sports Interactive have created Football Manager. The company who used to do it now have FIFA Manager, which is 3D.
lildave3 Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 There has never been 3D when Sports Interactive have created Football Manager. The company who used to do it now have FIFA Manager, which is 3D. What? EA Sports is Fifa Manager surely?
DB11 Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 What?EA Sports is Fifa Manager surely? Sorry I meant Championship Manager (Eidos) But thinking about it, I don't think that has a 3D match engine (FIFA Manager does) so are you sure your Football Manager game is 3D?

Looking closer, I have Total Club Manager 03, which has 3d match engine. So which football manager 08 type game DOES have 3d match engine? Because that kind of clinches it for me.

Asha Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Fifa Manager. But what an awful thing to decide it on. Not necessarily. May sound kind of stupid, but I take this managerial lark seriously. Sometimes pretend I'm one of the fans of the club, make up songs, celebrate and play a goal tune when we score...etc. You just can't do that with instant result.

Asha Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Even so, yes you can. Yeah well it's the matchday experience that makes it for me.
lildave3 Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Yeah well it's the matchday experience that makes it for me. Then you'll be delighted to know that one of Football Manager's new things is the 'Matchday Experience' Feature.
Asha Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Then you'll be delighted to know that one of Football Manager's new things is the 'Matchday Experience' Feature. Is this the 08 version? And matchday experience meaning...
lildave3 Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Is this the 08 version? And matchday experience meaning... Yeah. And not alot really.
Asha Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Yeah. And not alot really. Okies. Btw can you create your own club on Fifa Manager 08, and if not on any other game? Cheers btw
lildave3 Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Okies. Btw can you create your own club on Fifa Manager 08, and if not on any other game? Cheers btw Both I think. Certainly can on Football Manager, and if you're really technicall advanced create your own kits and wotnot.
Asha Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Both I think.Certainly can on Football Manager, and if you're really technicall advanced create your own kits and wotnot. Oh right cool. Am kind of weighing up the advantages/disadvantages of each game.
Tevez Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Haha, people tried to take over Leicester while I was there. Tried to make Materazzi manager too, but the deal was called off. Good times and 3rd in the Champ.
coale39 Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Cmon football managers the best. Just look how many pages long this thread is.
lildave3 Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Oh right cool.Am kind of weighing up the advantages/disadvantages of each game. The only thing that would tempt me on Fifa manager is the Stadium editor, and that you can own clubs. But i've heard more bad things than good about the game as a whole. Football Manager would be your best bet, surely

Joe. Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Not if it doesn't have the 3d match play thing that Fifa does. It's miles ahead of Fifa manager for a reason Don't go all SUAS on us NSLL.

Yeah left lots of comments on Football manager forums saying how they should note where the away fans sit at each ground and position a camera there for a good view. Plus they should note the goal tunes every team has and play them when the home team scores. Ideas, like.
