Don't expect much from the onscreen graphics mate. But the detail is great.

There has never been 3D when Sports Interactive have created Football Manager.

The company who used to do it now have FIFA Manager, which is 3D.

Sorry I meant Championship Manager (Eidos)

But thinking about it, I don't think that has a 3D match engine (FIFA Manager does) so are you sure your Football Manager game is 3D?

Looking closer, I have Total Club Manager 03, which has 3d match engine. So which football manager 08 type game DOES have 3d match engine? Because that kind of clinches it for me.

I got Total Club Manager 04, it was mint. I enjoyed it, especially as you could combine it with FIFA.

Fifa Manager. But what an awful thing to decide it on.

Not necessarily. May sound kind of stupid, but I take this managerial lark seriously. Sometimes pretend I'm one of the fans of the club, make up songs, celebrate and play a goal tune when we score...etc.

You just can't do that with instant result.

Even so, yes you can.

Yeah well it's the matchday experience that makes it for me.

Then you'll be delighted to know that one of Football Manager's new things is the 'Matchday Experience' Feature. lol

Oh right cool.

Am kind of weighing up the advantages/disadvantages of each game.

Haha, people tried to take over Leicester while I was there. Tried to make Materazzi manager too, but the deal was called off. Good times and 3rd in the Champ.

The only thing that would tempt me on Fifa manager is the Stadium editor, and that you can own clubs. But i've heard more bad things than good about the game as a whole. Football Manager would be your best bet, surely ;)

Not if it doesn't have the 3d match play thing that Fifa does.

Yeah left lots of comments on Football manager forums saying how they should note where the away fans sit at each ground and position a camera there for a good view. Plus they should note the goal tunes every team has and play them when the home team scores.

Ideas, like.

If they dare put Chelsea Dagger on when I score I shall play Fifa Manager.

Or just mute.
