Matt Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 So Megson was on the touchline on Saturday but was that classed as his first match? Or is tonight his first match? If tonight is classed as his first game in charge, Congratulations Megson you have broke the duck of many years of manager's not winning there first match in charge!
Wooly Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 First win in his first game in charge, first win at Forest for what, 40 years or something silly? His substitute scoring the 88th minute equaliser. Boo Megson boo
Bert Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 I questioned the substituton, we were 2-1 down and badly needed more atacking sense, but in a weird way it paid off.
Flynny Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 We had three strikers on the pitch anyway. Bruno looked knackered and pace is always an asset. Not the most obvious substitution, but not as ridiculous as is being made out.
potter3 Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 I was dissapointed at the time, but I guess it was the thing to do With the substitution i mean)
Daz.I Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 So glad we won tonight for megson people were singing about MA again , We're not gonna get him back. we have to get behind megson now. Come on you bluesss
The Reverend Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Nah, he was in charge for QPR in effect. But obviously he'll claim its hius first match, as will the Mercury as others have pointed out.

Not the most obvious substitution, but not as ridiculous as is being made out. He's learned quickly from Saturday then. God awful that day. Substitutions made sense today (Weso defensive on for defensive Chambers, DJ for fryatt and Stearman for NGotty.)
Geo V Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 I thought the hoodoo was first match at home not first match in charge? Anyway, who gives a shite, we beat Forest at theirs for the first time in 35 years.
BigGibbo Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 I thought the hoodoo was first match at home not first match in charge? Anyway, who gives a shite, we beat Forest at theirs for the first time in 35 years. Im lovin it da da da da daaa
