Peacefulred Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 Because all is well and good down at Forest now you've won a game in the league and gone up to midtable? Sure, we've got problems but we're in the Championship and this is like your third season in League One. I'd worry about the problems at your club and getting them solved before you come on here and tell us we've got problems. I know you're a decent bloke from the way you've posted on here previously, but I'm not in a good mood tonight and it appears as though you're gloating. Sorry, just thought i would say it because on our forums we have a big argument about the music the team come out to When we have much bigger problems at forest even though we may have turned the corner
Geo V Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 The Charlton fans were OK but then again we were louder when we were running all over Watford. There is nothing like going into a comfortable lead to get the fans involved and Charlton were no exception. They hardly warrant a thread for their super singing BTW.

SystonFox Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 Well done lads, contender for "most sarcastic thread of the year" award.Whats that?! Its not a joke? I came in this thread expecting to hear how the Charlton fans were shit! They didn't sing at all, apart from one or two songs after a goal and corners. We amde more noise than them most of the game, "we" meaning us on the right and not the majority who sat and wouldn't join in with anything (fair enough to the ones that did try..). the section on the right which erupted into a fight and started singing Harry Roberts when the coppers showed up? great example of Leicester fans. wonderful when we were getting behind the team but when they start singing scumbag songs it does make me ashamed.
Lovejoy Posted 23 September 2007 Author Posted 23 September 2007 Tell me your joking!?!Silent for 84 minutes of the 90 despite totally dominating us and having a lot to sing about, incredible. If thats support and atmosphere at a football ground then maybe we should all go and follow badminton. At the Walkers you've got a few at the back of the kop and a few hundred in L1! Ask someone who sits in the west stand what the atmophere is like from there.

It wasn't a fight. No punches frown... Just Alex (Works in ticket office) got held round the neck for telling someone to calm down, as he was trying to rip his chair out. (Pissed)
davieG Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 So it's unanamous then Charltons fans were great, no they weren't, yes they were! Is it any wonder fans can't agree on the best team to play when we can't even agree on this.

I tried too at times e.g. "stand up and support youre team" like 5 seperaate occasions i stoodup but I was in the middle of aload of boring W****RS but people around me wouldnt and i didnt want to get into any sort of trouble so I gave up. Fair play to the people on the right though never gave up once and the people to my left that tried Gery Taggarts Blue and White Army. I wish we played a little better and more people would have joined in
Floating Fox Posted 23 September 2007 Posted 23 September 2007 I thought that the Charlton fans we're alright, too much a happy clapping club, like ours. Only sing when they're given the "ok" by someone banging on a drum. It was different to see the whole ground join in though. I expected it to be shite, and they weren't anything special. Stood in the far right section and I can say our fans we're completly awfull. About 100 over there, 50 odd Chavs that couldn't give a fck, and sing about Harry Roberts. It makes me sick that I have to stand next to these people to have a chant & try to get behind my team.
