Thracian Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 That's the team i'd pick. Possibly have Jonny Hayes on the bench if he's put in a weeks training without picking up an injury. He's played less than one half of a reserves game after fairly long-term injury. I do understand the urgency but rushing things can backfire. I like the Johnny Hayes bit though. Reminds me of the sort of player we really need down here.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 Nobody seems to have really posted anything about the game on Saturday. It'll probably be another 5-3-2 although I doubt he'll play Hume in midfield.-----------------Fulop----------------- -----McAuley-N'Gotty-Kisnorbo----- -Stearman------------------Mattock- -----------Kish--------King----------- -----------------Hume----------------- -------------Fryatt--Cort-------------- Subs: Henderson, Chambers, Sheehan, Newton, Campbell Looks good, although I would start Campbell instead of Cort.
Thracian Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 Why all the Cort love Cos they're hoping the Cortshit's behind them!
BigGibbo Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 Cos they're hoping the Cortshit's behind them! In vain old friend in vain
davieG Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 Fulop Stearman McAuley N'Gotty Kisnorbo MattockKingNewton HumeCort FryattSubs Henderson, Sheehan, Kish, Chambers, CampbellNot a big fan of Newton but he could provide an attacking edge we sorely need.
Ric Flair Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 Why all the Cort love Because if Megson instructs us to launch it up top again, we need Cort there to try and win a few headers and if he doesn't then at least Hume will be there to win the second balls from midfield.

Just wish he wouldn't play it at home as well as away.
