1. Gary Megson - what are your thoughts on him?

It's too early to say. It's a pity he wasn't appointed four months ago. I don't think it'll be like watching Brazil though.

2. And what about the Martin Allen scenario?

He wouldn't have been in my top 10 to begin with, so I'm not disappointed he's gone. He seems like a nice guy, but he didn't have the measure of either the club or his boss. Martingate was an embarrassing episode for LCFC.

3. Have recent events made you question Milan Mandaric?

Not really. No-one else stood up to take on the club. He flits between maverick football impresario and interfering old loon.

4. How do you think you'll do this season?

If we can get to January without imploding, I still think a couple of quality loans (1x midfielder, 1x striker) could get us near the play-offs. Many will disagree, but that's the nature of the Championship year-in, year-out.

5. Who have been your major movers and shakers over the summer?

Marton Fulop (loan), Stephen Clemence and Bruno N'Gotty have improved the first XI on paper.

6. And who will be the key men to look out for on Saturday?

Probably Marton Fulop in goal. If we can keep a clean sheet, then we stand a good chance of nicking a point.

7. If you could swap one Leicester player for a Wednesday player who would it be and why?

Glenn Whelan for Rab Douglas - although to be fair, they're pretty similar players

8. We seem to have been your bogey side recently, but what's your most memorable Owls v Foxes match?

6-1 to us at Filbert Street in the late '80s. It's not often I've sung "We want seven!"

9. How do you think we'll do this season?

I think you'll bumble around mid-table like us. On a personal note, I always enjoy going to Hillsbrough, so I hope you do alright for that random reason. And because you play in blue, rather than red.

10. Finally, what's your score prediction?

A draw is the most likely result. 1-1.

1. Gary Megson - what are your thoughts on him? Gonna be the man who takes us down, plays crap tactics and will always go for 1- nils

2. And what about the Maritn Allen scenario? Wrecked are season it has. I was really please when he got the job. I thought we would do well under him and he took no shit ... Seems milan didnt like it.

3. Have recent events made you question Milan Mandaric? I don't like the guy anymore, we pay are money and we can voice are opinions.

4. How do you think you'll do this season? Fighting to stay up

5. Who have been your major movers and shakers over the summer? Brought in Clemence, Fulop, N'Gotty and Chambers what has improved are squad. Sold Paddy Mccarthy (thank god)

6. And who will be the key men to look out for on Saturday? Hume or Fryatt

7. If you could swap one Leicester player for a Wednesday player who would it be and why? Frank Simek for Richard Stearman ... Right back for a good right back .. DEAL ?

8. We seem to have been your bogey side recently, but what's your most memorable Owls v Foxes match? 1-0 Elliot scored to keep us up 96/97 season.

9. How do you think we'll do this season? Bottom half maybe near us.

10. Finally, what's your score prediction? 2-0 to the owls.

1. Gary Megson - what are your thoughts on him?

Very Very boring man but never the less i believe he will make us a very hard team to beat

2. And what about the Maritn Allen scenario?

Strange & unfairly secretive but its near forgotten now

3. Have recent events made you question Milan Mandaric?

Not really always knew he was eccentric & would do things not all of us agree with but i still believe he'll take us to the promised land

4. How do you think you'll do this season?

10th place finish definately top half were at our worst now & it will only get better

5. Who have been your major movers and shakers over the summer?

Stephen Clemence Bruno N'Gotty & Marton Fulop (loan) are our best signings & Selling Paddy McCarthy & Stephen Hughes also improved the squad

6. And who will be the key men to look out for on Saturday?

Ian Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumme

7. If you could swap one Leicester player for a Wednesday player who would it be and why?

Well as you've lost your only real premiership potential player in Chris Brunt I'd say probably Akpo Sodje because we need a half decent big man up front with all our hoofballs or maybe Jason Bradley but he's more potential

8. We seem to have been your bogey side recently, but what's your most memorable Owls v Foxes match?

None that memorable

9. How do you think we'll do this season?

between 10th & 15th a few places behind us

10. Finally, what's your score prediction?

2 - 0 Leicester

Oh & it would be for Carl Cort so Megson will stop using the useless tw@t

1. Gary Megson - what are your thoughts on him?

Not my first choice but then neither was Martin Allen, I think he will do ok if given the chance. His Tactics are fairly solid despite criticism on here and he is yet to sign a player of his choice which will be a major factor if we are to improve and him to keep his job

2. And what about the Maritn Allen scenario?

Disappointed it didn't work out but that's football, theres no point at looking in hindsight otherwise we would all be saying "What if O'Neill had stayed!!"

3. Have recent events made you question Milan Mandaric?

Not any more than we were already asking of the previous board. Its Milans money that is keeping the club away from disaster (ie Leeds) and I'm confident that he will do everything in his power to protect his investment.

4. How do you think you'll do this season?

We are in a transition period and I think most fans would settle for mid table but improvements made in the right direction. Of course we would love to be in the top 6 and there are fans who appear to be demanding it but I feel that realistically mid table would be an improvement

5. Who have been your major movers and shakers over the summer?

Fulop has been a god send, I just hope they can make it permanent. N'Gotty looks solid as does Clem. Was worried when we signed Cort and have since been proved right, not convinced he is fit or likely to remain fit enough to have an extended run in the team.

6. And who will be the key men to look out for on Saturday?

Fulop and Fryatt.

7. If you could swap one Leicester player for a Wednesday player who would it be and why?

Well you can have Jimmy Neilson, Carl Cort, Sergio Hellings, Alan Maybury and Rab Douglas and we will take one of them pies your place does at half time!!!

8. We seem to have been your bogey side recently, but what's your most memorable Owls v Foxes match?

None really, we usually play crap against you.

9. How do you think we'll do this season?

Similar to ourselves, scrapping if your not careful but should finish mid table

10. Finally, what's your score prediction?

1-0 either way.

1. Gary Megson - what are your thoughts on him?

Was absolutely furious when I heard he was being appointed. Then I digested the news and looked for the positives. He's got promotions to his name, he has a fantastic Assistant Manager alongside him who he didn't have with him at Forest and he'll always make sure we're tight defensively. I just hope he doesn't sacrafice the attacking element in our team because some of the football recently has been grotesque, but I know there's some decent football can be played amongst our players. He has to tap in to that or he'll be gone within a few months.

2. And what about the Maritn Allen scenario?

I was fairly happy when Allen got the job, he's different. I liked his ideas at first, but could tell that there's a fine line between being innovative and being a damn right lunatic. I imagine Mandaric saw signs of the latter and he had to go. I've heard the reasons what Allen did behind the scenes and he was right to be gotten rid of. It's a shame it happened, as he's a motivator, which is what we badly needed here.

3. Have recent events made you question Milan Mandaric?

I've become a little disillusioned in recent weeks, but this is part of the Mandaric Rollercoaster that the majority of the fans bought in to. We were all willing to experience the adventure, so i'm taking it in my stride. It's too early to start barracking Mandaric, the one's that are doing need to look at where we've been. Milan was the only chap willing to takeover us and give us a slightly better chance of success. It's not happening yet, but it's far more entertaining than recent years. The one thing that irks me is that Megson isn't the sort of manager i'd have associated Mandaric with. Martin Allen is, I was hoping we'd have an erratic set-up that shipped goals but also blitzed them in the other end and we were seen as entertaining. I think we'll see that at some point during Milan's reign here.

4. How do you think you'll do this season?

I was never hoodwinked in to thinking we'd challenge for promotion this year, but with the squad we have and the ability to still make some further signings this season I do think we should be capable of a top half finish with an outside chance of making a late surge up the table. It's not looking pretty right now, but I still think we'll finish 14th upwards.

5. Who have been your major movers and shakers over the summer?

Stephen Clemence, Bruno N'Gotty and especially Marton Fulop have been outstanding at times.

6. And who will be the key men to look out for on Saturday?

In recent games, we've shown no consistent attacking threat, so it's difficult to think we'll go away from home and bombard you with attacking play. If Stephen Clemence is back then I am looking forward to his battle with Graham Kavanagh, two players who are as good as anyone midfielder on their day in this division. If the game goes how I expect it to, then I hope that Marton Fulop keeps up his impressive displays, he makes some unbelievable saves at times. And finally, Joe Mattock. He's not long turned 17, plays left wingback and when the momentum get's going, he's quality. Equally good at defending as getting forward.

7. If you could swap one Leicester player for a Wednesday player who would it be and why?

It's got to be Glenn Whelan as you don't actually own Kavanagh and plus he's about 12 years younger than Kav. We've been linked with Glenn, but I imagine it would cost us an arm and a leg to get him, but if you're keen to do a deal we'll throw in an Alan Maybury, Darren Kenton, Jimmy Neilson, Rab Douglas, Sergio Hellings & Elvis Hammond for you.

8. We seem to have been your bogey side recently, but what's your most memorable Owls v Foxes match?

I remember about 8 years ago when we beat you 3-0 at Filbert Street. Gerry Taggart scored twice and had a very harsh one ruled out that would have given him his hat-trick. Happy times.

9. How do you think we'll do this season?

I really thought you'd do well this season, I rate your manager a lot. Then you sold Chris Brunt who has ripped us to pieces in recent years and you missed out on a lot of the players you tried to sign in the summer. I still think you're good enough for a top 10 finish, I just hope there's room for the both of us. I'm interested to see how Jeffers does for you.

10. Finally, what's your score prediction?

I don't think there will be many goals in it, unless we have a nightmare and then you could put a few away. We won't score many, if we do pinch a win then it will be 1-0. I'm going to be brave and say 1-0 to us.

1. Gary Megson - what are your thoughts on him?

Seems to analyse play well. I didn't really care when he was appointed - he hardly made his name at Forest, either as a manager or a player. When Clough sent him packing he commented "he couldn't trap a bag of wet cement." I was more pissed when Lennon joined Forest. I'll give Megson a go.

2. And what about the Maritn Allen scenario?

I was sitting on the bog when I read the story on my phone, wasn't too pleased. Took a few days and a game or two to get over it, but finally acknowledged that there was probably some factor that went on behind the scenes that we don't know the full story about, and probably never will.

3. Have recent events made you question Milan Mandaric?

Na, seems headstrong. I'd prefer headstrong over the recent numpties who ran the show. Expecting too much is better than waiting for administration.

4. How do you think you'll do this season?

Top 10 finish, momentum will pick up soon.

5. Who have been your major movers and shakers over the summer?

Fulop, N'Gotty, Clemence and having seen Kish play a few games last season if he can pick up a similar form / momentum again he could become a real asset.

6. And who will be the key men to look out for on Saturday?

Hume, and Fryatt can be a sneaky fooker. Clemence if he's playing.

7. If you could swap one Leicester player for a Wednesday player who would it be and why?

Whelan - less defensive pish in the midfield is always a good thing and something we're looking for. You can have Maybury, was brought in by Levein and has been pish since then. Plus he played for Hearts which also makes him shit

8. We seem to have been your bogey side recently, but what's your most memorable Owls v Foxes match?

I think you flatter yourself.

9. How do you think we'll do this season?

Relegation, along with QPR and someone else.

10. Finally, what's your score prediction?

1-0 to us after some boring defensive play and 2 shots on goal (one of which is lucky and might come from Hume or Fryatt  )

Posted

1. Gary Megson - what are your thoughts on him?

He's an overly defensive, ginger, serial failure who has been out of football for 18 months with good reason. Not happy with the appointment at all, but I have little choice but to back him for now. One thing I can be sure of is if this not scoreing bollocks continues Milan won't have any trouble putting the boot in sooner rather than later.

2. And what about the Maritn Allen scenario?

As has already been said, Martin was an exciting chap, he had the chat and he had the team scoreing goals and we weren't doing that badly up until he left. Now he's gone I think thats pretty much buggered us for the remainder of the season, as I've already stated I have little faith in Megson in normal circumstances but he has a 45 player strong unsettled squad to pick from, all signed by someone else, I would think the poor bloke can't see the wood for the trees at the minute.

Apparently Allen "had to go" most of us have accepted this and moved on.

3. Have recent events made you question Milan Mandaric?

Yes, but I have little doubt we'd be relegated (more than likely from 24th place) this season without him, the division is getting slowly stronger. It's more Megsons hireing than Allens fireing that has made me question him, and I'm hoping Milan will act if Megson doesn't start getting some reasults.

4. How do you think you'll do this season?

It's really up in the air at the minute, if Megson and the team settle down we could get mid table, if we carry on playing like we are though we will be in yet another relegation scrap.

5. Who have been your major movers and shakers over the summer?

Clemance has been a revelation but he's injured. N'Gotty has added experince and techincal abilty to our back line, and we have Carl Cort, woooo.

6. And who will be the key men to look out for on Saturday?

Clemance, and hopefull Hume or Fryatt, we need some more goals from those two.

7. If you could swap one Leicester player for a Wednesday player who would it be and why?

I would have to agree with Ric there and say Whelan.

8. We seem to have been your bogey side recently, but what's your most memorable Owls v Foxes match?

I'd like to go back to one of the wins we had against you in the mid - late 90's but I can't get that 4-1 drubbing out my head tbh 4 classic goals.

9. How do you think we'll do this season?

I thought you'd do well but now I'd have to change that, Francis Jeffers is not a good purchase IMO and Brunt is a huge loss. Players like Kav, Whelan, and Tudgay might be enough to keep you up but I don't see Wednesday pulling up any trees this season.

10. Finally, what's your score prediction?

0-0

1. Gary Megson - what are your thoughts on him?

He deserves credit for the wins at Forest and Villa, which have landed us a decent payday at Stamford Bridge. But league form under him has been dire - not surprising when he picks SEVEN defensive players in the starting 11 for a home game. Not even Levein or Kelly did that!

2. And what about the Martin Allen scenario?

A sadly brief interlude. Just when we thought we had reason to believe in our club again, he was taken away from us. But he's moving on and so should we..

3. Have recent events made you question Milan Mandaric?

I was never in his fan club to begin with. lol But his image as a "football genius" is slightly tainted, especially with just THREE league wins (and FOUR managers!) since his takeover.

4. How do you think you'll do this season?

Another bottom-half season beckons... :(

5. Who have been your major movers and shakers over the summer?

Inwards - Clemence, N'Gotty, Fulop, and precious few others. Outwards, the departures of McCarthy, Johnson and Hughes were not widely mourned.

6. And who will be the key men to look out for on Saturday?

Hume, Kisnorbo and Fulop. Oh, and don't forget our new midfield revelation James Chambers.. ;)

7. If you could swap one Leicester player for a Wednesday player who would it be and why?

Now that Brunt has moved on I'm not impressed by anyone in your squad, barring Kavanagh who is on loan anyway. I might swap Richard Stearman for your Simek but that would be about it.

8. We seem to have been your bogey side recently, but what's your most memorable Owls v Foxes match?

A 6-1 pasting we dished out to you in 1987 is still fondly remembered in some quarters...

9. How do you think we'll do this season?

Ahead of us, but outside the top six again, and still the second team in your city.

10. Finally, what's your score prediction?

We will try for a 0-0 and fail miserably. 1-0 to the owls..

Posted

1. Gary Megson - what are your thoughts on him?

Needs time and to get his own players in.

2. And what about the Maritn Allen scenario?

all in the past. If he wasn't the right man for the job, then he had to go.

3. Have recent events made you question Milan Mandaric?

No. Milan saved our club so I personally back him 100%.

4. How do you think you'll do this season?

6th. I'm the serial optimist.

5. Who have been your major movers and shakers over the summer?

fulop in goal, N'gotty at the back, Clemence in the middle.

6. And who will be the key men to look out for on Saturday?

Marton Fulop.

7. If you could swap one Leicester player for a Wednesday player who would it be and why?

Rab Douglas for Glenn Whelan. No offence to Wednesday, but Rab is poor and from what ive seen of Whelan he's not a bad central midfielder.

8. We seem to have been your bogey side recently, but what's your most memorable Owls v Foxes match?

2-1 Wednesday last year because we were so bloody awful that day. We weren't nearly as bad in the 4-1 thrashing, not that thats saying a lot.

9. How do you think we'll do this season?

Top 10 at least. Could still get top 6 (like ourselves)

10. Finally, what's your score prediction?

1-0 City. We'll play for 0-0 but accidentally score on the break.

1. Gary Megson - what are your thoughts on him?

Not overly impressed, but its a results business, Milan knows that and he also knows that come the end of the season, 30 1-0 wins means promotion - the same as 30 5-0's does. Boring as anything though.

2. And what about the Maritn Allen scenario?

Not particularly bothered hes gone, now iv had time to think about it. He seemed a bully, and his signings were poor to say the least. Though i admit i liked his charisma.

3. Have recent events made you question Milan Mandaric?

No. He's the main man, without him we'd be in no better position, so i'll let him get on with it.

4. How do you think you'll do this season?

Mid table Tommies.

5. Who have been your major movers and shakers over the summer?

Clemence, N'Gotty and Fulop.

6. And who will be the key men to look out for on Saturday?

Clemence (if he plays, doubt he will), or Fulop between the sticks.

7. If you could swap one Leicester player for a Wednesday player who would it be and why?

Tudgay - i like him as a player, tho he is similar to what he have already.

8. We seem to have been your bogey side recently, but what's your most memorable Owls v Foxes match?

Can't remember any really. Middlesborough in the League cup at Hillsbrough, does that count?!

9. How do you think we'll do this season?

Same as us.

10. Finally, what's your score prediction?

1-1

1. He`s alright. Far from my first choice as I still get delusional in thinking that we are good enough for a Vialli, Tigana or Keegan. The problem is that a large section of our fans cant accept he is here or even that Martin Allen is gone.

2. I can only judge him on the pitch and from I saw he started to really get them going. His sacking is deeper than what was happening on the pitch though so I respect MM`s decision.

3. No. It just confirms what I already knew ie he will do all he can to make us successful, even if it costs him embarrassment and money.

4. Its still very early but the potential is there in the squad to do well so the play-offs may be a long shot and mid-table is perhaps more realistic.

5. Clemence was a great signing, Fulop even better and Weso`s emergence alongside Clem was great. N`Gotty has done well also.

6. For me its Hume and Fryatt. They at times link up well and should cause problems to your lot if we bother to try to support them from midfield.

7. If you asked me that 6 months ago I would have said Brunt but for now, I dont think you have any stand-out players like you used to. No offence of course lol

8. Memory too hazy to remember.

9. I saw you were linked to good players like Eastwood and Sharp but none of those deals materialized and you have lost players like McLean and Brunt since then so I expected you to struggle but not this badly. Hopefully you`ll avoid relegation as Sheff Weds are still a bigish club.

10. It`ll be either 1-1 or 2-1 to us depending who is fit to combat Kavanagh from our midfield and if we actually play with any confidence.
