Ozwin Posted 9 October 2007 Author Posted 9 October 2007 You reckon they'll do the national anthems and stuff? I need to learn the anthem myself, I always pretend I know it by mumbling something about the queen >_> 'God save our gracious queen, long live our nobel queen, blah gruuu meeer la la...GOD SAVE OUR QUEEN!'
lookwhaticando Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 What is this thing it's wearing? I'm interested, very interested indeed... Jesus H Christ nothing is ever simple these days. The thing the carpet is wearing is a shower cap. Helps prevent stainage in the interim - between intense shampooing, that is.
AoWW Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 Again, purely out of curiosity, is the carpet well looked after?? Doodle isn't wrong. Dates are good. You seem like a classy bird.. Zanzibar followed by some Maryland Chicken ok for you?! Sublime.
Ozwin Posted 10 October 2007 Author Posted 10 October 2007 Back on topic, > You filthy lot you, I got my tickets today. Went to the ground via the Great Central Way and went past some awesome park with a massive slide. We went on it for a bit and it brought me and my mates back to our childhood again, how nostalgic of us, anyway it's all good. Anyone know/have any idea how many tickets have been sold for the game yet? I've heard somewhere, I think it was on here actually, saying how it's quite difficult to get tickets for it. Might be wrong but that sounds like it could be quite packed? And some bald guy at the ticket office kept locking the door on people before they went in. We got there literally a minute before 5PM (Too early to close for a ticket office IMO, not everyone finishes work and can get there by then) and he kept locking the door even thought there were people inside. I had to tell some guy he could get in if he knocked so helped him out a bit. >_> They could be a bit more leniant down there, considering the time they close. [/End Rant]
The Stig Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 I'm going, looking forward to seeing the U 21's as I'm excited by some of the talent we have at that age group.
Ozwin Posted 10 October 2007 Author Posted 10 October 2007 Yeah, I wonder if they'll do the National Anthems? I'm a bit rusty so might need to learn it all before then.
Ozwin Posted 11 October 2007 Author Posted 11 October 2007 Ooooo it's tommorow! Any news on the ticket sales yet?
