Hullfox Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 Overall a very tiring couple of days without going to bed. I saw no trouble whatsoever. I did however see England Fans who were definitely out to find it. It was quite obvious that the police did not want us walking around though, they did everything they could to make life difficult for us to do the touristy bit. All of the Russians we met were nice and friendly and keen to swap scarves etc and have their photos taken with us. In the ground however they produced a magnificent atmosphere that was very intimidating. At the final whistle, the England fans were let out first and received a good amount of applause from the Russians as they left. If by some miracle we had won, I think they'd have fooking killed us though. A poor performance defensively but an awesome experience.
