Finnegan Posted 9 November 2007 Author Posted 9 November 2007 Scott MCcdonald is an excellent player, top score by a long way at the moment. Follow the spl as you can probably guess who is my favourite player! Willie Kinnibugh? Ian Black? Paddy Cregg?
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 Rather Unexpected. ....very. Scotland? I think so.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 Here's a banner that Aberdeen fans had at Celtic Park in 2005 http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s86/one...rdeenBanner.jpg Their achievements in the 80's, the general hardness of the fans and the respect for football that they have make Aberdeen an honourable team IMO

DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 Aberdeen 1-5 Celtic - best free and forward flowing football I've seen in a long time! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rYCsrSqfuw Highlights for me were McGeady's strike, McGeady's swivel and cross to McDonald and Barry Robson's free kick. Robson had only just signed from Dundee Utd and was on the pitch for about 64 seconds before he took that and scored. Maybury was playing for Aberdeen. Boruc said not long ago that McGeady has the potential to be the next Ronaldo. You can certainly see it in those highlights, the pace that his feet move at and his impressive ball skills.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Scotty Mac is an absolute star about time he was first choice in the "roo" 11
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Scotty Mac is an absolute star about time he was first choice in the "roo" 11 Notice how he was played wide though, much like Hume is being played atm? I was looking forward to seeing him play up front. Apparently he set up 2 goals though - just my luck being up the other end, and then he was pish during the second half when he was in front of us
