Milans Foxes Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 Good to see an attacking Leicester side tonight for a change. Very pacey team although the defence looked dodgy in the final 20 minutes. Thought Sappleton was a stand-out. Immensely strong and good in the air. Reminded me a bit of Anichebe of Everton. Would pick ahead of Cort on tonights form although Cort ain't half as bad as people on here make out. The young lad Cox looked good at right back I thought. Felt a bit sorry for Kaebi at left-back- put in a good few sliding tackles but would love to see him given a bit more freedom in a more attacking winger role beacuse he wasn't able to get forward as much as he would have liked. Hellings was solid first half and was really impressed with captain Hayes and it was when he went off after scoring the fourth goal, we seemed to look a little disorganised maybe. Odihiambo also stood out. Very pacey and got a really good strike on him. Was a bit disappointed with Chambers when he came on. Gave the ball away on numerous occasions and was clearly getting frustrated with himself. Djeziri looked lively first half but faded second half when we didn't need so much attacking threat. All in all, an entertaining (and absolutely freezing) game full of goals. First time I have seen the reserves and thoroughly enjoyed it. Ten times more entertaining than the first team! EDIT: Move to Ratings thread Nothing new about the entertainment. Reserves and Academy matches are invariably good value. The first team seem to be permanently chained down in League matches with barely any room for manoeuvre.
