DanTheFox07 Posted 19 November 2007 Posted 19 November 2007 Ive just been reading on a bbc sport forum that apparently Grayson is set to be our new manager and Peter Reid is going to be our director of football. The guy who said this was given the information by the same person at forest that told him there goalkeeper would be allowed to score from kick off! a supposedly reliable source? These are the posts:- A very good source has told me that Simon Grayson is very close to agreeing to come to Leicester with Peter Reid has Director of Football. Keep the faith!!!! I heard the Grayson/Reid thing from the same source who told us that we would let Paul Smith score for Forest in our rearranged game about 1 hour before kick off has we were 1-0 down in 1st match when it got abandoned.Hopefully its genuine has it looks like Jewell is going to be Republic manager and do not really fancy any other managers available at minute.

DanTheFox07 Posted 19 November 2007 Author Posted 19 November 2007 I would take Reid and Grayson but i want tigana more Yeah i think most people do want tigana!
Bojimha Posted 19 November 2007 Posted 19 November 2007 Ive had an email from my mate to say the people in his office reckon Peter Reid won't get any job with us because when he was manager at Coventry he was always out on the piss in Ashby De La Zouch (not sure why) and never used to even watch the reserves etc and this got back to Milan and it put him off making any other moves.

Raj Posted 19 November 2007 Posted 19 November 2007 Not Entirely impressed if true. By what??? Holloway or Grayson and the other???
step Posted 19 November 2007 Posted 19 November 2007 Mandrik has been out the country as has Tigana and Jewell, so I think Mandrik has took them both somewhere nice away from the press, so he can get to know them. Tigana will be booked into one five star Hotel and Jewell in another similar nearby hotel. All expenses paid of course, MM would then be able to spent some quality time with each candidate on his own, getting to know them, how they will think and how they will work and giving them time to get know him. He will have explained what he expects from them, discussed what his short term and long-term goals are and how he aims to achieve those goals. In return they will be given the opportunity to express what they think they can achieve and how that fits in with MM plans. Then after a week of golf, wine and dinning both candidates, Mandrik have a good understanding of each candidate and they would know if can work with Mandrik. Obviously Mandrik would offer the position to the most appropreat candidate IMO Either would be good.
