Phube Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 Just heard this interesting fact on TalkSport: The Saturday game after an international Wednesday is a rushed preparation because your players get back Friday night. Obviously having to travel along way to an away game on this Saturday isn't ideal. So far this season after an International break Reading have had: Bolton, Man City, Blackburn and Sunderland = ~940 miles of travelling. Arsénal have had.... 3 home games and had to travel ALL the way to.... Spurs! A grand total of ..... 4 miles!!! This doesn't seem fair to me...

Just one flaw in your suggestion - the FA have nothing to do with who Reading, Arsenal or anyone else play after internationals or any other league game that's down to the Premier League or is this your anti Arsenal bias showing?
