The Stig Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I can't speak for other people but I can't rate people unless I was at the game.
davieG Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I can't speak for other people but I can't rate people unless I was at the game. This is the Barber ratings interpretation thread.
RoyFox Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I live in Brizzl, so these are based from watching the game. Fulop-8 - superb presence, won almost everything in the air. Some good reaction floor saves 2nd half. Stearman-7 - hate to say it but he played well, clearly trying to impress. Played midfield 2nd half and was arguably better playing there. Mcauley-7 - assured display, great communication with Kisnorbo Kisnorbo- 8 - cool as a cucumber, good passing today. Mattock-6.5 - confidence growing, england call up is doing him world of good. Hume-7 - maximun effort, sometimes trid to be too clever, bit worked his socks off Wesolowski-8 - first half was OK, 2nd half really took the game to them. Brilliant tacking at critical times, fitness was superb. Clemence-6.5 - getting bck to full fitness, solid Sheehan-6.5 - not bad! really helped playing mid and not wing back, as his pace isn't fantastic. Him and Mattock were linking up well. John-5 - bit lazy before injury Fryatt-8- great hold up play, made a fool of defenders when cutting in (had them on there arses), nice finish. WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED TO GET SENT OFF? - SOMEONE HELP ME SUBS Kenton-7 played really well, made some good tackles. N'gotty-6 - not long enough to make jusdgement REF - 1 - very, very biased, game Brizzl everything. SENDING OFF??? Holloway 9 - 442, players were very motivated, looked like a TEAM
TheBlinding Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Fulop - 8 (Solid as ever) Stearman - 7 (Looked much more comfortable at right back) Kisnorbo - 7 (Few mistakes but recovered well) McAuley - 7 (Solid) Mattock - 7.5 (Very good performance, dealt with everything) Hume - 3 (Shocking, never seen him play so bad, first touch was absolutley appaling) Clemence - 7 (Very tidy in midfield) Wesolowski 7 (Worked hard, won the ball, passing wasn't great though) Sheehan 6.5 (Great delivery again from set pieces, needs to put the ball in earlier in open play though) John 5.5 (Didn't make much impact before he went off) Fryatt 8.5 (Fantastic today, worked hard and took his goal well, beating players all over the place MOM Kenton 7 (Lots of commitment, some great tackles)

TheBlinding Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Hume 3??? were you at the game???OK he tried a bit to0 hard, clearly you weren't at the game as he made the 2nd goal! You've been exposed I was at the game. Hume worked hard but you can't say that he played well. He knew he was playing shite too. The ball just bounced off him. If that was Carl Cort he would have been slated.
Nath Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Fulop - 8 Not one mistake Stearman - 7 One of his better games Mcauley - 7 solid Kisnorbo - 7 Solid Mattock - 7 Nothing much needed from him today, he had a quiet afternoon Hume - 6 Not his best performance, glimpses of magic, glimpses of failure Wesolowski - 8 Demanding Clemence - 7 As above Sheehan - 7 As Mattock, nothing really happened down the left today. John - 5 Injured Fryatt - 8* Excellent, deserved goal. Silly sending off SUBS Kenton - 7 Presence was known, deserve's a start monday N'gotty - 6 Not time for impact
GianEmmo Zola Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Fulop 7 Some comfortable saves made them look easy Stearman 7 work his nuts off Mattock 7 played well linked well with sheehan Mcauley 8 Kisnorbo 8 neither of them missed anything Sheehan 8 played well supported the forwards well Wesolowski 8 Great game, worked very hard Clemence 7 did his job Hume 7 an off day? but still worked hard to get a good rating John 6 linked well with fryatt injured again?!? Fryatt 8 worked brilliantly he bowed down to the fans after the game Kenton 8 was everywhere!! like he playing in the reserves, just runs with the ball like when he was in the ressies, some great tackles aswell Bruno 6 did his job Hayes and king good to see them back in the squad Holloway 8 FINALLY WE HAVE A MANAGER THAT WANTS TO PLAY 4-4-2! been sick of the 3-5-2
Bert Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Fulop 6. Looked a bit shaky, but still never looked like getting beaten. Stearman 7. Much better in a position that suited him. Mattock 6. Stuck to his task, and did it well. McAuley 6. Cuaght out for pace, won everything in the air. Kisnorbo 7. Rock solid. Hume 5. Worked hard, but was poor by his own standards. Sheehan 6. Worked hard, but too many times, he slowed us down on the counter attack. Clem 6. Kept things neat and tidy. Weso 7. Always hustling around, some good, driving runs. John 5. Hardly realised he was on the pitch. Fryatt 8. Classs above today, a deserved goal, did not deserve a red card. Kenton 7. Different gravy. The guy loves a tackle. N'Gotty 6. Helped keep a clean sheet towards the end.

Leicester Lass Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Fulop - 7 Stearman - 6 Mcauley - 6 Kisnorbo - 7 Mattock - 7 Hume - 6 Wesolowski - 8 Clemence - 6 Sheehan - 6 John - 6 Fryatt - 8* SUBS Kenton - 7 N'Gotty - 6
Fox You Forest Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Maybe like jay jay okocha ? So good he named him twice
potter3 Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Fulop - 7 Stearman - 7 Kisnorbo - 6 McAuley - 6 Mattock - 6 Hume - 5 Clemence - 6 Weso - 8 Sheehan - 6 John - 6 Fryatt - 8
Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 November 2007 Posted 25 November 2007 Fulop - 8 Stearman - 7 Kisnorbo - 7 McAuley - 7 Mattock - 7 Hume - 5 Wesolowski - 7 Clemence - 6 Sheehan - 7 Fryatt - 9 John - 5 Kenton - 8
Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 November 2007 Posted 25 November 2007 Fryatt 9 .... I know. I don't love the bloke but today he was immense. Ran their defence ragged, turned their centre-backs inside out all game and was a constant threat. Held the ball up well, particularly in tight spaces and had to deal with two completely ineffectual strike partners, linkup for the second goal aside. One of the best performances I've seen from a Leicester striker for years.
act smiley Posted 25 November 2007 Posted 25 November 2007 Yeah, it was really superb - dunno about calling both strike partners completely ineffectual, in that I felt Hume did alright when he wasn't spooning the chances, but Fryatt was certainly man of the match today. I really can't believe how good we were today, both in terms of quality and tactically, when so recently we looked a mindless shambles. Fulop - 8. Utterly dependable. Couple of good saves and controlled the box superbly. Stearman - 7. A good, if unspectacular performance. Mcauley - 7. Solid. Kisnorbo - 7. Very good showing. Mattock - 7. A big improvement - he really seemed to have got rid of the nervousness that was holding him back. Very confident and linked up with Sheehan very well. Hume - 6. Some very nice runs and passes, but a couple of far too heavy touches and a shocking lack of composure in front of goal spoilt it by wasting as many chances as he helped to create. Wesolowski - 8. Played well and really held the midfield together when we had that poor patch early in the second half. Clemence - 7. Had a job to do and did it well, but wasn't that notable. Sheehan - 7. Played well, got a few good deliveries in, and did quite well spraying balls up to the strikers on the counter. Played himself into a corner once or twice, but still did very well. John - 5. Did okay, but was in no way special and was shown up by how well everyone else played. Fryatt - 9. Brilliant movement, superb on the ball and managed to keep possesion in some very tight spots. He was immense today. SUBS Kenton - 7. To come back out of nowhere and put in a performance that good is rather remarkable. N'gotty - 6. Wasn't on for that long but didn't do anything wrong.
Tommeh Posted 25 November 2007 Posted 25 November 2007 Fulop - 8 - unbeatable, simple as. Stearman - 7 McAuley - 8 Kisnorbo - 7 Mattock - 7 Sheehan - 6 Wesolowski - 7 Clemence - 7 Hume - 5 - John - 5 Fryatt - 9 - Best I've ever seen him, top performance, even seemed to get clapped off by the home fans when he was sent off. Just so typical that he starts doing well and is now out for 3 games. Kenton - 8 - very solid really proved a case for being a ragular starter. Day out - 9 - Brilliant!!!
The Reverend Posted 25 November 2007 Posted 25 November 2007 What was everyones views on Clemence? He seems to be getting decent marks, but on the radio im not sure i heard his name mentioned more than once. Perhaps thats when hes at his best, quiet but effective?!
