Simi Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 There's loads free near us at the back of F1 but either your IQ or your age has to be above 18. I'm sick to death of idiots near us singing absolute bollocks for the sake of it. And yes, silence is preferable to Small Town in Portsmouth. Was just going to mention those twats.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 I sit in the kop and i join in with most chants although when sing we songs like "stand up if you love leicester" i never do stand up because i know that the mardy arse behind me will telll me sit down Well, that's because they've paid for a seat from which they should be able to see the game, and if you're standing up, they won't be able to, will they? Before everybody starts arguing with me, I'm fully behind the efforts to bring standing back. If people want to stand then they should have areas where they can do that without annoying other people. I'm happy to sit and don't like being forced to break the rules because someone else is willing to

It's just the ignorance of some against the people that want to stand that really gets to me. From what I've heard, it's these sort of people that always knock standing back 'cos they don't want it. Not taking others into consideration.
Sods Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Was just going to mention those twats. Dont let me get started. Couldnt stop laughing at them. East Stand give us a wave

I think everyone should embrace the notion of bringing standing back, because ultimately if it does come back then everyone is accommodated and should be happy. I can understand why some people are unsympathetic because the attitude of some of the standers (is that a word?) when asked to sit down is pretty crap - I've witnessed it myself plenty of times. Separating people that want completely different things from the match day experience would be a good thing for this reason on its own because it would stop this sort of conflict
Raj Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 My new campaign will be "Lets move back to Filbo" (Obvioulsy it will need rebuilding and all them scrabby students will need rehousing and a few other little minor details. But we will have good old filbert Street back and the atmosphere. It will work,i can see it!!! Tis the only way........
FilboFox Posted 4 December 2007 Author Posted 4 December 2007 Put the away fans next to the kop like at Filbert Street... I remember being there when I was smaller for a couple of games and it was a riot!
