As the club are handily placed in the Southern League Premier and awash with the money being pumped in by Alan Leighton (of Post Office, Asda and Leeds Utd. fame) Skippy seems to have a great opportunity to make his mark in the next phase of his career.

He joined Stafford Rangers as player/assistant manager to Phil Robinson at the beginning of this season but was released in November. Stafford are basically skint and it was probably a cost-cutting exercise.
