Even if Selby loses tonight, he can still take a lot of heart out of his performance.

O'Sullivan is genius and hopefully Selby will learn a thing or two from him which will make him a better player.

Come on Selby. :scarf:

He won't, he needs to do find the guts to play in the Premier League where there is a shot time limit, should he get an opportunity. It's players that play as slow as Selby that have turned people off going to watch snooker lately.

Ronnie 8-7 up

I know what you mean there but for most of the match the slow pace of Selby's shot making obviously got to O'Sullivan until O'Sullivan realised it was part of his game plan so didn't let it get to him.

He does need to increase his pace a bit though.

I think Ronnie has pretty much won :(

Why are they showing the highlights on BBC2 and not match finale?

Pointless...

agreed, about as pointless as putting the evening sessions on live, for all of one hour.

Agreed. Surely you'd put the highlights on after the match had actually finished? :frusty:

The last frame was a masterclass from Ronnie, Selby seemed gracious in defeat though...

Oh well, my best mate's sister was married to Mark Selby about 3 years ago.

Stunning

Just a shame he was off form for the other 16 frames really! :D

Selby only has himself to blame he had more than enough chances to win that.

First time I've watched Ronnie play and not wanted him to win for about 10 years. Very odd experince.

Shall be rooting for him tomorrow though. Boo the Scots.
