Makes it easier for me to find them all at the end... but send them in asap as there might be choices that clash.

I had said it was to be BIG BAND themed but as its the final, I think that the contestants will get to choose 1 new song of their choice and 1 song from previous weeks that they feel is their best from before the semi-final. Makes it more interesting as Big Band is a rubbish theme really... only chose it cause the real X-Factor had it one week...

I imagine it's as a result of Lookydo's discovery of a... nifty little option where I can set a close time for the topic... but his complete incompetence when it comes to telling the time.

What will happen is that the contestant can pick 1 brand new song that hasn't been used yet in the competition and ALSO choose one song from a previous week (not the semi-finals) that did well for them. So there should be 2 songs per person. 8 in total... and once again, the combined votes will show us the winner!

lookwhaticando Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 Sorry Folk... the Auto adjust DST in my account settings bjorked the time... so when I set it to close at 1500, it actually closed at 1900 GMT because it thought I was GMT -4 rather than -5. Lesson learned, and next week the topic won't be closed over an hour early.

Seriously though, good luck and congrats to all the acts that have reached the final. Obviously LFF doesn't stand a chance but he's put up a decent fight so far. I'll even, grudgingly, admit that 'Video killed the Radio Star' was inspired.
