Floating Fox Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 The local scouts (Or something similar) just came round with a car, with santa on it and everything, that happens every year and they ask for donations etc but they had to be given a police escort. Brilliant. Maybe they should Re-Write the stories, Santa on his sleigh followed by two flying police motorbikes Although, we do live dangerously close to coavlille, which may explain it!
DB11 Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 I read that in the newspaper. Last year he was pelted with stones, which is why they need the escort this year
WetFlannel Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 I read that in the newspaper. Last year he was pelted with stones, which is why they need the escort this year did rudolph squeal when it hit him in the eye?
Tevez Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 The other year, people in Shelthorpe shot Santa with BB Guns. Since then he's not visited there apperently. P.s I do not live there!!

Living close to coalville explains a lot of things.

SamL Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 I read that in the newspaper. Last year he was pelted with stones, which is why they need the escort this year There be nothin' like that in good ole' Harborough. Santa visited around my area tonight aswell. Gave them a fiver. Rather generous I thought
stez Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 The other year, people in Shelthorpe shot Santa with BB Guns. Since then he's not visited there apperently. P.s I do not live there!! there's always some fvckers who want to ruin everything HAHA I shouldn't of laughed no, because children want to see stuff like that, and, as a parent, i like taking my kid to things like that and these fvcker stop that from happening.
LE8Blue Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 game down my road yesterday in harborough same again the scouts my sisters enjoyed it gave them about 30p even more genorous
Rincewind Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Theres a contract out on Santa Some people want him dead They nearly succeeded in Shelthorpe That is why Ruldolphs nose is red. Theres a rumour going around That he's milking toys off the sleigh Selling them on the blackmarket To make up for his once a year pay. Mrs Claus is filing for divorce She ran off with an elf He's having to pay allomy And give her half his wealth. But Santa is not all bad Just some things have not gone his way So if you see him on his rounds Cheer him up and give him a wave.

Asha Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 I couldn't help laughing at these. Although it was more out of disbelief at what this country is like nowadays. Yeah, surely kids are becoming less volatile, surely this santa myth is starting to struggle? Most 8 year olds now are already wannabe gangstas and shit. The next generation will not be believers in Santa in my opinion, i think the world may be outgrowing it.
Rincewind Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Also parents these days are not so keen on their young child being bounced on the lap of an old man weaing a red dressing gown and a false beard and smiling whilst he's doing it.
Asha Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Also parents these days are not so keen on their young child being bounced on the lap of an old man weaing a red dressing gown and a false beard and smiling whilst he's doing it. Jealousy, perhaps?
