You must remember that we have never won the league, or the Fa Cup, or the European Cup, yet we still get bigger crowds than them most of the time, plus we have the egg-chasers on our doorstep, so we are competing for support.Our club is unique- 1) We have been to four Fa Cup finals (not bad for a club of our size) 2) We have won the Second/First Division the most times 3) We brought up Englands most capped player, and had a World Cup-winning goalkeeper play for us. 4) We have never been out of the top two divisions (83 other League clubs can't say that, and many more) 5) Gary Lineker supports us 6)We won 3 years in a row at Anfield 7) We are by far, the greatest team, the world has ever seen! We have a soul, a history, the support, just the team that is the problem Plus...only the big 4 have won more trophies than us since the Premiership started in 1992. Indeed, many "bigger" clubs (Man City, Newcastle, West Ham) have won NONE in that time.

Geo V Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 Thats True pal...Thats why we have the optimistic Bus innit??? Is it still here...somewhere???? Im always optimistic but thats me in general! I always look at the poor sods who follow Stevenage or Halifax and then think how blessed we are to have a good history, big fan base and a good club. However, I do get disillusioned on match day when I am surrounded by thousands of people but not many want to sing for their club. I don't give a monkeys about the acoustics of the Walkers or the fact that we are playing shite, its about 25,000+ people really going for it every game because they love their club but unfortunately, they don't love it as much as they think.
