I think this is nonsense, we do have a soul and a great bunch of supporters. Let's face it we have not had much to cheer about in the past 5 years at the Walkers. If we do have a good set of results, or dare I say it, season I'm sure that everything will soon pick up in terms of atmosphere. Now, to make people realise we as a club and fanbase are unique and do have soul I waint everyone list something about the club that makes us unique: I'll start it 1) Consistently getting 22k fans a game after 5 years of relegation battles

The soul of Leicester is our history and our support. I think we lost a little of it when we moved to the walkers. But just because everyone is fed up of us being shit doesn't mean we don't care.

But just because everyone is fed up of us being shit doesn't mean we don't care. I think the last few years have seen us almost punch drunk and you are right, people are disillusioned and it does even effect how they support the club. In an ideal world we would be happy, merry and like we are all on prozac singing for 90mins and loving the losses but realistically only a few fell upbeat all the time, like me in fact but thats simply because I am mad There is no doubt the heart of the club has been almost ripped out as we haven't made the Walkers a fortress and a stadium that other clubs don't want to come to and our identity has been diminishing with all these changes every season. God knows how many players we have played in the last 4 years but i bet its over a 100?!!

We over achieved under MoN and thats what may make it worse. The thought of what we achieved and how surreal it all seems now. Did we really win The League cups?? We've been in a mess now for so long,im sure many fans are disheartened with the Club. BUT there ARE alot of clubs worse off than us(ie Forest,Leeds etc..Although admittedly who cares about them) so we just gotta stay optimistic and hope we can atleast win a few games in the near future.. Im babbling now......

Im babbling now...... You're right though. Leeds have a bigger drop. They were in the latter stages of the Champions League, they're now in League One. It could be worse.

We maybe should be down but at the very least we should dust ourselves down, stop feeling sorry for ourselves and actually sing your hearts out for the lads as if we do, I am certain our form will improve.

Durnerz Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 We've lacked quality ever since Izzet left in the middle of the park, Gudjonsson showed it for a little while but sadly we're one of the real luckless teams when it comes to overpaid players who don't care. As they saying goes, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Hopefully we strike gold soon.

You must remember that we have never won the league, or the Fa Cup, or the European Cup, yet we still get bigger crowds than them most of the time, plus we have the egg-chasers on our doorstep, so we are competing for support. Our club is unique- 1) We have been to four Fa Cup finals (not bad for a club of our size) 2) We have won the Second/First Division the most times 3) We brought up Englands most capped player, and had a World Cup-winning goalkeeper play for us. 4) We have never been out of the top two divisions (83 other League clubs can't say that, and many more) 5) Gary Lineker supports us 6)We won 3 years in a row at Anfield 7) We are by far, the greatest team, the world has ever seen! We have a soul, a history, the support, just the team that is the problem
