Dr_Fox Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 So last season he was in his peak... he goes away on holiday, comes back and is suddenly past it? actually IMO he was at his peak in League 2 with Luton and what we are going to get is the back end of his career and I reckon his confidence must have taken quite a battering in his last few months with Derby hope I'm wrong of course!
Bob666 Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 I thought Howard was excellent today... Exactly the striker we needed. Won alot of headers and was very unlucky not to score... Agreed. Better than most of the dross seen up front this season. It will be interesting to see who partners him up front. I would expect that Howard/DJ (if fit) would be a good combo........don't think Hayles would be quick enough up front.
