Staf Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 SSN just reported - Subject to a medical. According to SSN he has been having a medical all morning
Father Ted Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 According to SSN he has been having a medical all morning Well I don't think he has had any major injuries in his career or anything so I don't see what is taking so long
Matt Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Well I don't think he has had any major injuries in his career or anything so I don't see what is taking so long Probably passed the medical, and we're just waiting till Tomorrow/Wednesday until we annouce it, having said that why were we in so much of a rush to get Hayles in as an emergency loan but willing to wait for Howard
Polyphonic Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Well I don't think he has had any major injuries in his career or anything so I don't see what is taking so long QPR have hijacked the deal
Tommy G Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Well I don't think he has had any major injuries in his career or anything so I don't see what is taking so long Does the medical include being breathalised? If thats the case he is likely to be over the limit..

Kilworthfox Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Well thanks goes to Milan Mandaric, We could not have made a signing like this, this time last year. Hopefully we can now get on up the table. As said made my new years eve
Matt Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Text from the clubs text service; Leicester City have this evening confirmed that they have completed the signing of Steve Howard from Derby County for an undisclosed fee. Happy New Year
Kilworthfox Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 See ya Hume Has Hume fooked your missus or something? Not every post you make has to have some reference to Hume, also not that it matters to me but most on here will disagree with your Hume bashing as they like me love his commitment.
Mark Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 See ya Hume The prospect of Howard and Fryatt/Hayles doesn't exactly fill me with much hope. Pace is crucial and we are already the slowest team in the league with Hume in the side.
brookfox Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Good signing and should give us the physical presence and character we need to begin to move up the division. According to Howard and Hayles scored 33 goals between them last year, impressive stuff! Plus, given the type of player he is he's less likely to detiorate with age compared to a striker who relies on his pace.

Agreed, I reckon (or do I mean hope!) Ollie will be looking for quick wigers now. Howard and Campbell might have the makings of a good big/little combinatin.

Not every post you make has to have some reference to Hume, also not that it matters to me but most on here will disagree with your Hume bashing as they like me love his commitment. I think it's more down to the fact that Hume has been linked with other clubs. This double capture of strikers may have put the final nail in the coffin for him or even fryatt Fingers crossed it's Cort aswell. We definately will see 1/2 strikers leave in Jan
brookfox Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 3 this season. Fine, ruin my optimisic end to 2007!
lee7 Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 howard/hume big man little man partnership. hopefully it will produce goals.
