DB11 Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 Same here, but i would rather it monday morning. School!! I got school tomorrow Why don't we just go back on Monday instead of have 1 day and then weekend?
Raj Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 I got school tomorrow Why don't we just go back on Monday instead of have 1 day and then weekend? THIS IS THE REASON YOU HAVE TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL EARLY!!!!
LeeCovFox Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 no snow in Coventry yet. that Peter Gibb off the bbc said there would be some, but there isnt. That bastard has lied to me before though. Me and the old man booked a weekend of work in order to sit in his garden and get pissed and fall asleep in the sun one summer, based almost exclusively on his forecast. The sun didnt come out all weekend. willy puller.
LeeCovFox Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 Oh and Raj, whereabouts in Evington do you live? I was brought up around there until buggering off to earl shilton a few years back, then coming to uni in cov.

Actually its In between Uppingham Road and The General Hospital....near Wicklow Drive. Its not exactly Evington but i'd rather say im from Evington than Rowletts Hill!!!!
LeeCovFox Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 Just as i used to say Evington rather than Goodwood mate.
Alexikokopops Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 Oh and Raj, whereabouts in Evington do you live? I was brought up around there until buggering off to earl shilton a few years back, then coming to uni in cov. You in Cov Uni or Warwick?

LeeCovFox Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 yeah i know, but i only found that out this week. i went there on a school trip years ago and just assumed it was in warwick, but apparently not. whats ur campus like? you get into the city much?

For some reason most students live in Leamington in their second and third years. That's where I've was living for the past two years so I didn't make it down Cov much. Now I'm back on Campus in Canley so I've made the odd trip to admire the concrete architecture. Have you had the pleasure of trying to get to Leicester for a game by train? You'll quickly learn to hate Nuneaton station.
LeeCovFox Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 I tend to use the bus to be honest, even though the jouney is horrendous. I've been to Nuneaton a few times in the past though, I lived up in Scotland for a while and I always had to change there when visiting. i've never understood why Nuneaton manages to have more platforms than Leicester.
lildave3 Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 I hate the cold.my knob gets even smaller than normal.

Gargh, this has annoyed me for three and a half years now.
LeeCovFox Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 Because to be honest, the only people who need one are students, who they dont care about. other than that whats the benefit to shoppers of a route between two cities of near indentical size. and people who work between the two cities drive anyway. I quite like Cov, which has surprised me, as its pretty ugly in places. But credit where its due, where its nice, its nice. and the fact that right now im lookin out of my window over the cathedral and university square helps my impression of the place further.

Don't come up with viable reasons for a lack of one! Join me in ranting!

LeeCovFox Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 Haha, none of that is to say i dont want one for my own convenience.
