SamL Posted 7 January 2008 Posted 7 January 2008 Why should a team give there money to another club. Luton have got themselves into that mess so they shouldnt try and get Liverpool's money. They have got a replay now so they will get more money from that so... This reply might be a little late but to be honest, if we were in the same position as Luton you'd be pretty peeved at the situation. Just shows the arrogrance of Premiership clubs towards lower league teams which some of them paid for this weekend by getting knocked out of the cup. Some people are just idiots.
The Reverend Posted 7 January 2008 Posted 7 January 2008 I think Liverpool are a disgrace personally, its a totally different situation to Leicesters was, Luton played one of the richest teams in the country and they couldnt donate 200k, absolute pennies to them! As Ultra said, Abramovich did it, why cant Liverpool? I think it puts a very very bad light on the club, and the clubs probably lost a lot of respect and rightly so. Look at Cardiff ffs - in financial difficulty themselves and still gave their money to Chasetown. Liverpool are indefencible on this, theres no excuse for being so pathetic. If i was an owner of Liverpool and did this, and Luton ceased to exist, i would feel extremely bad. But them im not some Stupid American cnut, who knows feck all about football, and is only interested in lining his own pockets.
Staf Posted 7 January 2008 Posted 7 January 2008 Different username same twat. Found that pretty funny

Raj Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 If you are all so bothered about Luton's situation i think you should all travle to Luton and all donate a fiver! So then you can all stop moaning about the most successful club in British history! They are my second team! So shut your mouth and what i just said was a good point because most people seem to be moaning about them so i will stick up for them! Alright. Very mature! What a willy puller! Sorry that i have a view on something that you arseholes dont agree with. What have i said that hasnt been mature? Actually i think i will know. Is it because i have failed to agree with you? Raj Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Liverpool get away with shit loads(i was gonna put murder but thought even for me that would be inappropriate!) The most tragic incidents in Football involved Liverpool FC,one which set back the advance of English football in Europe(i refer to Heysel Disaster) Also they take the piss out of ManU fans not living in Manchester, but that in itself is the biggest load of bollox out. I know more Liverpool fans who arent from there than any other clubs supporters. In the 80's most of the saddos at my School supported them, cos 'they win things innit' They may think they are the so called traditional club with fans that are knowledgeable etc...but thats bollox as well. Sorry, but i just cant stand them. And while i think Luton should have kept their own house in order before begging for money off other clubs(Why didnt the FA etc...help them out too???) im sure Liverpool would not miss 100,000 squid or whatever...they spend enough on crap over rated players and black arm bands which they seem to wear on a very regular occorrence!!!
Simi Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Why not go and support them full-time - you may fit in well there.Along with the rest of the selfish, greedy scum. Greedy scum? Oh please. You don't know half the situation, at the end of the day it's down to the owners where the money goes, I bet they couldn't care less about what happens to Luton, right or wrong. To call 'Liverpool', selfish, greedy scum is quite frankly pathetic.

You are a willy puller mate! How dare you call them murderers, what about Hillsborough mate? 96 Liverpool fans lost their lives there and was that thier fault. There is only one other thing and that was Heysel, and every team in Britain gets caught for fighting and on this occasion there was a tragedy. They wear black arm bands in respect of people who have lost their lifes you, and if they didnt wear them you would all on here be slagging them off for that. I think that you are trying to jump on the bandwagon on this thread to be honest, and quite frankly nobody cares.

LeeCovFox Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...own/7177839.stm Looks like the might be alright, despite Liverpool's greed. But Nick Owen, what a smarmy b@stard.
The Reverend Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 And another thing - Carraghers disgraceful attitude to the Luton fans who were jokingly doing the Harry Enfield 'The Scousers' impressions, all dressed up, he disgustingly jumped in the crowd and was saying such things as 'lets av it'. Absolute tosspot. I used to like him aswel. W@nker.
