Filberts lovechild Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 I've just been trying to find out what Mandaric's fortune is on the internet but can't find it anywhere. He's not in the Sunday Times rich list so he can't be that loaded can he??

MikeyT Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 I read quite a few months ago now, in one of the Sunday papers that he had an estimated 73 Million, which it contrast to the likes of Abramaovich and the new guy at QPR is pretty much pocket change.

Would not qualify for the rich list, he is an American citizen, and from what I can gather is very very loaded over there.
surrifox Posted 14 January 2008 Posted 14 January 2008 I seem to recall at the time he was trying to buy City that he said he had something like £30+ mill that he cleared after his involvement with Pompey which he couldn't take back to the states as it would be taxed and he intended to reinvest it in another club in the UK. Does anyone know if he has indicated he will buy out Teachers loan on the Walkers? That will dent the cash he has available.

High stakes as clubs are bought and sold David Moores would receive about £87 million should he sell his entire 51 per cent shareholding of Liverpool, given the proposed £170 million valuation of the club. However, the chairman may want to keep some of his shares should Dubai International Capital take control at Anfield. Milan Mandaric collected £47 million by selling Portsmouth to Alexandre Gaydamak. The chairman offloaded his first 50 per cent stake for £15 million last January and the remainder earned him £32 million in July. The recent takeover of West Ham United by Eggert Magnússon, the Icelandic football administrator, earned Terence Brown, the chairman, £30 million for his 37 per cent shareholding. Doug Ellis’s long reign at Aston Villa ended in the summer when he sold his 32 per cent share in the club to Randy Lerner for about £20 million. Ken Bates collected almost as much, £17 million, when Roman Abramovich purchased the Chelsea chairman’s 29.5 per cent stake as part of his buyout of the club. John Magnier and J P McManus, two racehorse owners and investors in Manchester United, collected £227 million when they sold their 28.7 per cent stake in the club to Malcolm Glazer. £750,000,000 in europe and anova £300,000,000+ in USA Are You Leicester_Sam In Disguise
