dandannieldanok Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...sea/7113823.stm If the FA want things like this to stop, why don't they issue 3 game bans to all the players involved rather than a fine that won't affect Chelsea one bit. Things like this frustrate me so much, especially considering Chelsea have been found gulity of the same offence before.
Koke Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 John Terry is the main culprit and the bastard always gets away with his bullyboy tactics. Sort of like Alan Shearer used to.
acooling08 Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 40,000? What the ****. That is loose change to chelsea as they are owned by a billionaire. They won't give a toss.
Joe. Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 Like you all say, £40,000 is nothing to Chelsea. Harsher punishments need to be given across the board, not just for teams like Chelsea but for anybody who has this sort of conduct. Chelsea are prime suspects when this kind of thing happens, it pisses me right off. When you consider that £40,000 isn't really a punishment at all for Chelsea it makes you think that match bans would be much more effective and fair.

Too right, he's got a gob on him. He is the one that gives away 5 or 6 pens for Chelsea for handball inside the box most seasons- -none of them seem to be given though

Tommy G Posted 18 January 2008 Posted 18 January 2008 He's a bit of a **** really. JT, i despise him.
Simi Posted 18 January 2008 Posted 18 January 2008 Pathetic. I'm tired of the FA saying they're clamping down on incidents such as this, then they go and dish out embarrassing fines like this. They should be fining them much more money and putting it into academies and the like. More than likely it will go towards paying of McLaren though!
MikeyT Posted 18 January 2008 Posted 18 January 2008 40,000? What the ****. That is loose change to chelsea as they are owned by a billionaire. They won't give a toss. So true, its just pocket change to them. I may be wrong, but wasnt it leaked a few weeks back that Terry is on something like £135,000 a week?? Just goes to show how crazy it all is!
Staf Posted 18 January 2008 Posted 18 January 2008 40,000 probably one of there young players like Scott Sinclair is earning week

Just goes to show how crazy it all is! I would happily pay a player £135,000 a week, but not John Terry.
