Benji Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 the boy/girl singing combination personally i can see why only lads can sing this sort of music he's got quite a decent voice but her's is awful -
Cat Burger Posted 14 March 2005 Posted 14 March 2005 They are on at the Charlotte on Tuesday, I'm going I think. It would work if her voice wasn't so shit, but she's fit though so I'll let her off.
Matt Posted 18 December 2005 Posted 18 December 2005 I like this band, Don't think shes too bad, she by far not the best singer but not bad, and as said she fit!
CasinoGee Posted 19 December 2005 Posted 19 December 2005 Great live! And put it this way, by the time I'd finished with Charlotte, it'd be like throwing a hotdog down a corridoor .
Benji Posted 19 December 2005 Author Posted 19 December 2005 haven't listened to anything of theirs since i made this thread in march, might have to check them out again sometime
The People's Hero Posted 19 December 2005 Posted 19 December 2005 The Subways are brilliant. If you get the chance to see them live - DO IT. Don't think much of the girls' singing though.
Craig Posted 19 December 2005 Posted 19 December 2005 The Subways are brilliant. If you get the chance to see them live - DO IT. Don't think much of the girls' singing though. Yep they're the best band i've ever seen live. Not bad for free
Deathside Posted 19 December 2005 Posted 19 December 2005 The Subways are brilliant. If you get the chance to see them live - DO IT. Don't think much of the girls' singing though. I did see The Subways in Aug or Sep 04 - But I don't remember a great deal about it - Who said the drugs don't work anymore?
Jordan Posted 19 December 2005 Posted 19 December 2005 I've only heard "Rock 'n' Roll Queen," so I haven't heard the girl sing. It's a catchy tune, but it has single written all over it so I wonder if their other stuff is any different.
