He's not that bad.

I'm not gutted to see him leaving but at the same time I still thought he should get another chance. He looked good under Allen before he got shipped out on loan and we haven't seen him since.

Before his untimely loaning out this season I thought he was looking better than he has in his last couple of seasons for us. He like he was generally trying his hardest. But we've moved on, his time here is over, just like Maybury and all the rest of Leveins crew.

He'll be alot happier back in the SPL though I reckon, more his style. Good luck Mark

Fair play to big Mark, he was one of few who showed his passion for the cause, ill miss the big fella.

I will actually and didn't mind the guy. To me, he really was a 'fans' scapegoat' !! At least he showed passion, commitment and enthusiasm - not like a lot of wasters in the past

he was entertaining to watch for his Trevor Benjamin esque (??) lumbering, but never have I wanted someone to succeed as much as MDV.

I know I harp on about it but his record is actually very similar to Fryatt's...10 ish goals in 40 ish games...off you go Mark, onwards and upwards.

In 5 years time he'll be in the fox as an unforgettable, and the Watford game will go down as a Pele like performance.

Watford 4-1, Big Mark was involved in 3 if not all 4 of the goals

he was supposed to be involved in the scoring of goals

he's a forward FFS :@

had a go - wasn't up to it - glad he's gone

time to move on. :scarf:

So a forward cant help in creating goals.

Interesting.

You've gotta be joking, it drove me mad how he just lumbered around and gave any defenders he came up against an easy ride. Yes he played well and tried hard in front of the cameras against Spurs but can you pinpoint one good league showing, with quality and passion. I can't.

I always thought he got a raw deal !! No, he wasn't good enough, granted, but he showed some passion and commitment - coming up with some useful goals along the way!!

I think what we are all going to miss us his funny looking style of play. U can't really priase anyone in our team of about three seasons cos we done shit. He's had a few good games, as did david batty for england, doesn't neccessarly make him a good player. Far too inconsistant.

He did seem like a jolly nice chap though, so i will miss him for that.
