LeeCovFox Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 Does anybody have any idea why the England team coach has just pulled up outside the Britannia Hotel in Coventry City Centre? I can see it from my room at uni, and I went into the hotel where a man said it was indeed the England team coach. He couldn't, well, wouldn't say any more, so I don't know who is on it. If they are meeting then Covntry, being a central location would make sense, but there are no internationals just now and I'd have though that players would be with their clubs with the FA Cup coming up. I want some autographs, two sets of, as ebay is appealing to me right now. Anybody got any clue?

LeeCovFox Posted 23 January 2008 Author Posted 23 January 2008 No idea, didn't see anybody get off, but the guy in the hotel said he wasn't allowed to say who was in their from the coach, so that intrigued me. Also, the hotel is only two star according to the internet, althought perhaps thats more to do with the ugly outside appearance, as they seem to have some prettry nice conferncing facilities.

So if any of them teams are playing at coventry soon thats maybe why? Just had a look at th FA.com, and none of the England sides appear to have a game lined up in Coventry. The coach is still there so I'm assuming that its Havant and Waterlooville staying overnight on their way to Liverpool.

sdb Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 Was there any players on it though ? that's what i was thniking. they do use the england teams transport for other people. i've been on englands official plane for example when i went to america a few years back!! good times. i could still feel the presence of big emile in there. and there was a hole in the top of the plane so crouch could sit comfortably
