Love to see their faces when they finally realise their mistake. Can you imagine how much they all blamed each other?! :crylaugh:

do you mean the bollards? cos i reckon it would *just* fit between the nearest 2!

if thats the case then what are the point of the bollards ? :D

surely a car would get through easily ( assuming the bollards are there to stop parking )

i think this pic was in the jokes thread some time back

but the thread title has got me thinking of that old flanders and swann song about workmen and i'll be humming it all day now :D

Thats strange , looks like another van has come to help them finish and seems to have exactly the same stuff in the back !

except, if they've spaced them wide enough to drive a transit through, they're pointless, therefore they are dumb...

also the super imposed van would be slightly bigger as it is nearer, have you compensated for this...

finally, maybe the bollards can be lowered or collapsed?

food for thought tho

"Right said Fred... ave to take the post down,

Need more space to shift the so-and-so,

After straining he began complaining

We wos getting nowhere

And so we, had a cup of tea and

Charlie had a fink and he fort we ought,

To take down all the buildings,

And the plasterboard and ceilings,

Wiv a rope or two they might lift the transit through...

Alright said Fred climbing up his ladder, wiv his crowbar,

Gave a mighty blow,

Was he in trouble 100 tons of rubble,

Landed on the top of his dome,

So Charlie and me, we had another cup o tea,

And then we went home... :D

As Adapted....

Count the slab widths that the van takes up then look at the number of slabs between the bollards.

I don't think their going home in a hurry.
