lavrentis Posted 1 February 2008 Posted 1 February 2008 It means you don't have to sit in the seat number of your ticket. You and your dad still sit together, but wherever you like in the stand. Thanks . Lets hope no Idiot claims it's his seat after I sit down.
Bryn Posted 1 February 2008 Posted 1 February 2008 IF we win we could move up as high as 13th but we'd need Cov to beat Barnsley Norwich to lose to Preston Colchester to beat Sheff Utd Crystal Palace to beat Southampton. Well I think that kills that idea off I'd say two of those are highly likely and 1 of the remaining two isn't impossible. Colchester will struggle though.
Bluemoon Posted 1 February 2008 Posted 1 February 2008 So here we are chasing two successive wins once again and tickets are like gold dust.Has anyone got a couple to spare? Not sure there'll be many at their end. The ground is like a shoebox. They'd probably get a bigger crowd playing on the beach but, after last night's pitch at the Walkers, that would perhaps be seen as giving us an advantage. I wonder how we'll play having to defend our position at the dizzy heights of 15th. Wouldn't be surprised if Chambers came in for Stearman at right-back if the latter's injured but otherwise you cannot imagine changes although I'm damned sure I'd have made some after the performance at Norwich. Trouble is its harder for Holloway now. He can't effectively blame defeats or sub-standard performances on the youngsters cos people like King, Shush! and to some extent Weso and Fryatt have have been moved onto the sidelines for no great visual benefit that I can see except the one performance against Coventry who we almost always do well against at home. Yet as fast as our home form is improving our away form is disappearing. Horrid 1-1 hammering at Burnley, robbed by the officials at Ipswich, worse than awful at Hull, commendable draw at Wolves, dire against QPR, lucky to escape with a point from Norwich and, altogether three miserable points from six games. It's reads almost like a press release for a new type of Football Nightmares video designed to put travelling fans off the game altogether. But Holloway has to somehow get more goals than the opposition for the first time since we shocked ourselves and Championship football fans elsewhere by beating Bristol to record what, despite all the encouraging draws, was still only our second away League win this season back in November. With Campbell's pace a factor again the odds of success have shortened but it's still hard to be optimistic about scoring while we forever lack sufficient support for our attacks. I expect another attempt to "contain and nick something". I suspect a more attacking option, but I so hope our tactics are more thought out his time, and that the balance of the team is taken into account

Simon Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 I'm going for our first back to back wins since, well... ever isn't it?! It seems like it! We shouldn't underestimate Blackpool but we are certainly capable of beating them. I'm going for 2-0. We need to play width and invention- to do that Hume and Hayles probably need to be dropped... AlnwickStearman Kisnorbo McAuley MattockBori Clem Oakley LackzoHoward DJSubs: Hume, Hayles, Weso, J. Chambers, N'Gotty
Candidcamera Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Its difficult to say who to play in this one - Let's win it. Alnwick Stears McAuley Kisnorbo Mattock Oakley Clemence Hume Howard Hayles Bori Subs: N'Gotty, DJ, Weso, Fryatt/Henderson and Clapham

Bryn Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 I have a feeling Clapham will start today... I suspect Mattock may be in line for a rest, having played almost every game in all competitions since Ollie came in, including some Academy and U21 action. My point being; if Clapham starts, let's not all go nuts. There need be no uproar.
