I am planing on going up to Blackpool this weekend and, as I have never been there before, I am wondering if anyone has any tips?

What language do they speak up there? Do they eat fancy foreign muck or will I be able to get a decent cheese and onion cob?

They won't call them cobs up there... probably Bread cakes (or summat weird). But they will try to put chips, blackpudding or other fried food in your cob... to keep up with the population of Blackpool's favourite passtime - Eating fried fat!

try and get a " i fought the bloke what fought the bloke that fought muhammed ali " T shirt from brian london's place ( if its still there )

it meant having a bit of a scrap with the bouncer ( ex sparring partner) on the night club door but its well worth it ;):D

its a few years since i was there, so probably the bouncer is about 70 now and a bit slower than he used to be :D

I bet anyone considering Cuba or Chile must be looking at this thread enviously....

It's got similar characteristics. Risking the tram in Blackpool or a walk along the beach without a full boiler suit is probably more of a risk than the Mid Night Express through Chile.

Well, this thread was a bit pre-emptive...Sod Blackpool - didn't want to go there anyway.

Aston is the place to be this weekend, for sure.

No.

No it is not.

Which is why moves are afoot to relocate us from the West to the East Midlands

Was  not sarcastic enough for you :dunno:
