STUHILL Posted 1 February 2008 Posted 1 February 2008 Darren Huckerby's agent has confirmed the winger will leave Norwich when his contract expires in the summer. The 31-year-old has scored 46 goals in 191 appearances since signing from Manchester City on Boxing Day 2003 and played a major part in helping the Canaries gain promotion to the Barclays Premier League in 2003/04. But Phil Smith has revealed Huckerby will end his five-year association with the Carrow Road club. sportinglife.com I've always thought Huckerby was a good player and could be useful for us especially on a free! At 31, surely have 1 or 2 more years hig standard in him.
General Smuts Posted 1 February 2008 Posted 1 February 2008 Id take him on as another winger option definately.

Let's see what the January gales have blown in this year and digest our future in this league. Huckerby and anyone else can wait.

Super Arj Posted 1 February 2008 Posted 1 February 2008 if we are still in the championship then take him, hes not at a premiership standard at his age...
Molson Canadian Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 toronto fc have said they are interested in signing him. Toronto's welsh international midfielder carl robinson has contacted huckerby himself to find out if he is interested in a move to toronto.
Ultra Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 if we are still in the championship then take him,hes not at a premiership standard at his age... He's not really at Championship standard these days. It's notable how well Norwich have done lately when he hasn't been playing.
Jimmy Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 He's not really at Championship standard these days. It's notable how well Norwich have done lately when he hasn't been playing. he's had a Hip/Back injury he's been carrying for a while apparently
irememberwellerstights Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Reminds me too much of Gillespie. Two minutes of magic and the other 88 in obscurity.
Jay Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 I think what Holloway said about attitude means that players like Huckerby will not be signed by Leicester well imo anyway. Huckerby has talent no doubt about that but he has always come across as a bit of a moody git, always complaining and is a bit of a loner I don't think is attitude will sit with Ollie well
Jackirius Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 hes going too la galaxy i live in norwich i no!
